There was also a 'random flight of shipping' when a housemate and friend of mine, theChuckFace, in the past also took up drawing fairly seriously for a while there and created a character of their own that shared a very loosely similar colour-palette to her also
This resulted in us both agreeing to 'Have them have babies', drawing a short collaboration comic of their illegitimate conception (non explicit) & even designing one each of their offspring; his creation Tim, and my own creation (and Tims twin-sister) Tam.
(I think we were riding lightly off the 'from Candy' motif.. it was a long time ago)

Todays Character(s) Highlight will be touching on a fairly solid cornerstone that pop up in a bunch of my work throughout time: Anthro Fruit
I think the very first 'fuller body' versions of this concept was the left-most one here in artwork produced in 2007 titled 'Fruit Holidays'
(The right is another twin-sisters pair; my 'Sweet' and 'Sour' Strawberry chikkies)
The original idea sparked from a recognition that 'Anthro' need not only apply to animals, but can ascribe 'human-like' traits to anything non-human; Fruit for example
..And all the fun design and motifs that can come with fruit-inspired characters!
....because whom doesn't want to get kissed by a cute Water-Melon at some stage in their life??

In a lot of artwork they would exist more as 'toony fruit with faces' sometimes with limbs of extremities, rather than being more humanoid-silhouetted figures
