Saw some pretty interesting trees/plants the other day; and it occurs to me that Australia sports some pretty interesting flora (..& that I should share some pics with y'all! *especially the non-Aussies among!)
1-3: What I think is a Silver Princess Gum (or Eucalyptus Caesia)
[Commonly mistaken for
Ghost Gum (or Corymbia Aparrerinja) for it's very 'white' extemities] cuts a very striking image with its drooping-looking branches & foliage in such a stark colour-contrast
4+5: a Peruvian Pepper (or 'Schinus Molle' & known by many other names again. *not an Aus Native)
Has a special place in my heart & looks rad with its thin hanging foliage & bright pink 'false' peppercorn fruit
6-8: What I believe is a Grey Gum (or Eucalyptus Punctata)
Can feature some STUNNING 'Metallic looking' bark on their trunk which these photos aren't doing as much justice as this looks in person!
