It is next to never that I will leave a negative review on something: but a recent visit to Melbourne's Museum of Desire Absolutely enraged me into just that with disgraceful practice.

The review:
The exhibition was rather bland in it's exploration or sex/amorosity & artistic sexual expression for the most part (with a few nice pieces sprinkled sparingly through)

But what was Utterly disgraceful to see was how much AI (Genaritive Machine Learning) pieces there were present - In a museum of art???

Absolutely appalling :/

Being bland is one thing - Disgracing what museums & exhibitions stand for: 'The creation & celebration of human expression' is entirely another!

And for things that, could so easily be of or put together by 'actual people' too.
I was actually taken aback.


As an Artist and creative myself - those hosting the space should be ashamed.

Not sure if the fault lays with any creatives contributing making use of AI generated means - but those hosting are just as much at fault for passing that in also.


Do better to preserve that which sets us apart from the lowest common denominator (& outright Creative/Art theft)

It is not good enough to 'not be able to notice'
(Or worse)
'not care'
