Q. I tried to listen to an audio recording, but it was silent.
Was it a butt dial?
Is there something wrong with your recording device -- or maybe with the device I'm using to listen?
A. Heehee, not a butt dial :-) nor a device malfunction. 🌺
When you encounter a silent audio or video in the Intuitive network, you are receiving an earnest invitation to meditate with us in that space.
Meditate from wherever you're at, whenever you find the message -- or make an opportunity to come back later on and join us then.
This is the beauty of asynchronous communications.
Shared meditative attunement is a helpful practice, especially if you don't currently have anyone else to meditate with in person.
Breathe gently and with care for your body.
Attune your presence and vibration with others who are in the same space, even though all of us may be in different locations.
Notice our shared psychic state -- and how connected we are, especially with the Internet turned off and the audio player set to the side or behind you, out of your line of sight.
Shared meditative practice and the holding of intention, just this way, have nourished and strengthened us in building the Intuitive network for many years -- especially in times of greatest hardship and isolation.
Together, we activate our awareness and kindness for ourselves and one another.
In this silent stillness, we co-create new worlds from the life energy of our mindfulness, breathing, and heartbeats.
We experience peacefulness in collective resonance.
This is one way of tending the community body.
When we finish a meditation with one another, even asynchronously, we understand more of what happens next.
With our Intuitive attention held together in recording or listening to this audio... what is forming?
Thank you for joining. 💞

We need to offer ways to get support in community that do not require us to first build community. Being a known, loved, present, valued, or respected person in community should not be a prerequisite for receiving care.
I say this because people talk about building community like it’s easy, something that indicates morality, something we all have time for/can do, something that if you do a good job and do it right you will always have care and love and support within reach. Really not true.
@ people saying you don’t deserve community if you put no effort into building it - y’all will die on the hill of transactional care + labor!! Some Disabled people need constant care & we give less than we receive but we still deserve all of it. It’s not balancing an equation.
By the way, I think building community is critical, a way of life, & is part of our necessary work as humans. My point is that under our current conditions, the labor (and love) of building community should not be required first in order to receive care outside the state.
Ex: Many folks turn to pod mapping during times of crisis to activate their pod and avoid unwanted or carceral responses. You need to know the people in your pod and be in relationship with them, be in community. AND we know that many folks have no one or 1 person in their pod.
Should the people who have no one in their pod not receive compassionate, anti-carceral care in community? Are they required to first build relationships so they can access care outside of the state? I would hope not, because so many of our most targeted and marginalized cannot.

Solidarity, Compassion…. Heart!?
Hi
i remember you, and us
I am practicing not being invisible.
we exist!
i’m just saying hi to you all
thinking about all the folks who are self- or otherwise labeled as spoonies and ‘addicts’ and ‘mental cases’, and other disabled folks i care about. we are all also caregivers… who i mostly don’t get to talk to…. here i am for a sec tho.
how much i’m cut off from ppl, bc not driving, bc poverty, bc sleep schedule, bc relational traumas, bc not available to do phone calls, bc geographic distance, bc others too overwhelmed to include me, or it being too complicated, bc rarity of necessary connectivity, bc my time mostly goes to surviving/navigating health care systems (that i shouldn’t be talking to much at all ugh)... bc things have gotten harder… for at least some of us...
i think about the potential for more safety… & leadership & skills & attunement… in our group bodies…. which do exist tho we may not see ourselves as part of a thing…
i think about how hard i’ve worked to have meaningful relationships and show up for people, and how i can’t do all of that anymore even if i want to, not in the same way….
no agenda here really tho
if i knew exactly what to do about it rn, i’d be doing that instead
i'm curious how much ppl are struggling, who is succeeding (especially in recovery), if anyone, and whether ppl can be honest about those things to their communities
i ponder:
what if….
we were able to organize more? as individuals navigating illness/oppression/spiritual challenge, AND-OR as communities navigating that + each other….
pondering:
i have land access… it’s a huge deal.
I think about selling…. bc i’m isolated here 95% of the time and i mainly interact in person with ppl paid to help me… who are largely failing to help me meet ongoing and recovery needs, thru no personal fault… i won’t give up anytime soon…. tho i experience (negative/horrible stuff) way too much….
how am i surviving? sometimes i’m not sure.
what is consistently helpful, strengthening, nourishing….
being on the land
herbal brews
caring for critters and plants and my space
having things to tend like occasional tea orders and my gardens
appreciating weather
intuitive public & private media
fucking cancelled podcast
ecstatic dance online weekly
soma yoga practice
samaneri jayasera
me talking with the Mystery
lovely local and highest quality foods and cooking and eating
staying in contact with visions
(sometimes) knowing what recovery is and can be
(sometimes) singing
there's also lots of things like this:
(too much) watching movies
what there isn’t… is y’all. i don’t have ppl over, i don’t visit them, i don’t reach out… i’m not putting myself out there and that’s for good reasons, but it’s also killing me. at lot of the barriers are due to the neural injuries i’m living with…
i’m scared to try for certain things, way more than i ever was.
and i’m braver than ever, at the same time….
Intuitive Invisible does recovery co-mentorship (among other things)… it’s worth exploring how each/any of us could invest in (sustainable) collaborations….
its wyrd here.

i love you

Pat McCabe (Weyakpa Najin Win, Woman Stands Shining) is a Diné (Navajo) mother, grandmother, activist, artist, writer, ceremonial leader, and international speaker. She is a voice for global peace, and her paintings are created as tools for individual, earth, and global healing. She draws upon the Indigenous sciences of Thriving Life to reframe questions about sustainability and balance, and she is devoted to supporting the next generations, Women’s Nation and Men’s Nation, in being functional members of the “Hoop of Life” and upholding the honor of being human. She addresses the question of “What Could Possibly Go Right?” with thoughts including: The exploration of the “perfect design for thriving life as human being here” The responsibility to understand the consequences of humanity’s actions on our interconnected world The realization that the “modern world paradigm is a choice” The co-witnessing of today’s issues and retelling of our old stories can “change the trajectory into the future” The reconciliation between the masculine and feminine, and that “men are not the patriarchy; the paradigm is the patriarchy” Connect with Pat McCabe

I don't post a lot about it out of respect for the experience of other people in my family.
And, weekly, we're impacted significantly by disability and chronic illness in this family.
It affects our/my ability to follow through with things we love. It affects our/my ability to do as much with the business as I would like. It affects our/my ability to stay connected with community.
And, sometimes, it looks very invisible.
If this is you, I see you, too. Kindness and care and compassion. And knowing that doing less than we think we should, or want to, is actually enough.
Big hugs.

Welcome to Monday! Who’s up for helping with a simple but worthy challenge?
My colleagues & I are reaching out in hopes of gathering at least $1000 in the next few hours, in order to scale back the urgency of situations for several individuals experiencing severe hardship. We would love to have you to participate, & it needn't take long <3
We’re part of a growing network of people who have been working creatively to help one another & our communities for years. We’ve learned a lot, & as able, make participation easy & fun - we are working to make lives better & giving neighbors a chance at a better future, & have high hopes for this to be increasingly nurtured & celebrated.
We are interested to tap into a shift we see - away from the unfortunate social norm of seeing other people experiencing ongoing hardship as hopeless tragedies with a lot of "I don't know what to do" moments - into discovery of ways to figure things out for the better. There's already huge momentum for people to fund the (care) gaps now… let’s connect & move in good ways!
If you have questions & ideas, are interested to network, or want to collaborate, please comment here or DM me @JohannaBotanica <3

Here are some examples of current situations that we’re actively resourcing:
A disabled community member is stranded & sick in a hotel & needs urgent funds for medical supplies, food, & lodging costs, enough to give us time to make connections & find safe affordable housing.
Another of our community members is a full-time caregiver, & provider for a whole handful of disabled people, & is juggling too much in order to focus on all the entangled priorities, toward easing life-death situations for this group, on the daily. They need some funds to solve immediate problems, & more curious & kind people to be engaged in supporting their lives.
Another collaborator is on the streets without food again. He’s someone who has been a steady caregiver for other colleagues when he’s able. It shouldn’t be surprising that his mental health & will to live are greatly impacted by the repeated experience of this kind of hardship.
....
We’ve included the above details about current situations we are seeking funds & coordination for on an urgent basis, because that’s more familiar as far as fundraising via social networking goes.
However, we know how inundated many people are with emergency fundraisers; & for those in need, efforts at piecemeal supports that aren’t going to be enough to sustainably resolve their current hardships are increasingly exhausting & demoralizing.
My colleagues & I are compiling & innovating resources that will create & expand additional layers of social, physical & economic infrastructure that meet the needs of real people, so more of us will be able to continue to exist - & move forward.
Here in survivor-care coordination land, it's important that we receive monies & community support for our listening & knowledge translation work.
We are on a front line here, & we know well that situations can go distinctly different ways depending on how they're viewed & responded to. There is no substitute for lived experience & expertise!
From a colleague: “We're fundraising for immediate financial emergencies across a host of situations. Please know that we could put as much as $200,000 to work this week to fund the (currently unpaid) coordination work we do. We're in dialogue with funders but progress is slow; we invite creative hearing out & help brainstorming this!”
Thanks for reading, & i look forward to meeting more of you!
