Hello all!
IOHK has made a few useful enhancements to their staking calculator today, adding new parameters and sliders (inc. stake pool performance), options for private pools and a touch of the 'k' factor.

This is to help prevent any single stake pool from growing too large, IOHK has set the 'k' parameter at 100. This effectively means stake pools saturate at 1% of the total network stake. Beyond this, rewards are shared with more people and the pool becomes less desirable.

An other method we see is that scammers are impersonating officials, Ambassadors and even channel names. They try to DM users directly to offer support but they are actually trying to scam you. As a general rule: we will never send unsolicited DM’s. Contact an admin if you have any doubts and please report them in t.me/CardanoReportToAdmin

Hello all.

Following the successful release of the Daedalus and Yoroi wallets for the Shelley Incentivized network, we have experienced unprecedented demand on the testnet network. IOHK engineers have been working hard since launch to resolve edge-case issues and improve performance. Today, they have been making various adjustments to the node configuration changes, which should start to deliver a number of performance improvements. They'll continue to deploy new releases and deliver network optimisations as required throughout this testnet phase to continue improving the experience for all our users .
