As a swing trader you need to define some rules
You basically can't buy every breakout/ every retest .
Here I have mentioned some of my observation of my own trading
The best rules that I have tested are
1. Breakouts of VCP base / or rounding base gives good Win Probability
2. Stocks above 21 ema have high Momentum and should be bought.
3. Trade only in high RELATIVE STRENGTH stocks .
4. Look for institutional Buying In consolidation
5. Stocks with good Fundamentals generally have higher safety and recovery
6. Look for thematic stocks to trade
7. Avoid stocks during earning day
8. Reduce risk if indexes start trading below 50 ema .
9. Have bigger position in high probability conviction trade .
