Quebec MP slams Trudeau’s use of Emergencies Act against freedom protests

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet has spoken out against the federal governments use of the Emergencies Act to respond to protests.

"Let's understand clearly that Quebec, Quebec government and us do not want this law to be implemented on the territory of Quebec. It is not legitimate, and it is useless," he said Monday.

The premiers of Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan joined Blanchet in opposing Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act on the truckers. (Post Millennial)

If we had ten thousand guys willing to be arrested like this man, we'd be in a better position. If you're going to go the route of peaceful protest you need to literally get arrested in the thousands. Overload the prison system, make yourself such a nuisance to deal with that it's easier to have you back on the streets. Canada does not have the prison facilities to deal with that many people at once.

If you're not prepared to be beaten and arrested, peaceful protests are mostly useless. I'm not a fan of protesting, it only works if the state is already on your side. If the state and media are against you, the only thing that will make them budge is fear. Even then, you'll have to deal with them trying to destroy you for a long time before you win.

The system wants to bring in 1.3 million more "immigrants" to replace us. They want to specifically bring in more of them to drive trucks.
