Me: “Lord, what do You want me to know today?”
God: “Find moments of rest in your day. Don’t let every minute be packed with busyness. I gave you eyes so you can look around and see the beauty of the world I made for your pleasure and Mine.
“Take time to notice the needs of those people I cross your paths with. Unravel your priorities, and create something new and beautiful in the lives of those who don’t share your joy. The best gifts are not things, but experiences shared with others.”

Testimony Tuesday
Have you ever spoken life or praying over your home and family?
We have heard of speaking life over ourselves and others, but our homes need to be spoken and prayed over as well.
My daughter had recently moved into a different home at the end of June.
She had asked that I come over and pray over her new dwelling after she gets settled in somewhat.
I had done this before in her former home, and now I will be doing this again in her new home come this weekend.
I love the idea of making proclamations and praying over our homes. When we do this, we are speaking life and proclaiming God’s Word over our homes.
God’s Word is truth and it is powerful.
When you speak the Word over your home, you are staking claim and declaring that your home is off limits to the enemy or enemy influences.
You are also purging any ungodly attachments of the former resident to your home that may be present.
When you do this, you are putting the devil on notice that your home is off limits, and it is covered by the blood of Jesus.
Be diligent in speaking life and praying over your, home and family.

Clean the House with Oil, Worship and War
Anoint every doorpost and window frame.
Walk through every room with worship music on.
Declare the Word out loud: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)
Break agreements with fear, addiction, rebellion, and confusion.
Lay hands on phones, TVs, tablets and sanctify the space.
Declaration:
"Every spirit that is not of God must go! This home is now under the blood and authority of Jesus Christ!"
Discern What's in Your House Physically and
Spiritually.
Ask yourself:
• What's playing on your TV when you're not paying attention?
• What symbols are hanging on your walls or clothes?
• Are there unrepented sins or generational items in your home?
•
Are your kids sleeping under spiritual torment?
You can't cleanse what you continue to excuse.
Declaration:
"I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything in my home that grieves Him. I welcome His presence above all else."

TV shows, music, arguments, occult items, open doors through sin.
All of these things become access points.
Hell isn't impressed by a remodel. It leaves when it's evicted.
Declaration:
"I will no longer allow anything in my home that partners with darkness. My home belongs to the Lord!"
Your house may be clean, cozy, and full of things...

Father, in the name of Jesus, I secure my household under divine authority.
Every spirit not sent by God — I give you notice. You are trespassing.
I cover every room, every door, every bed, and every conversation with the Blood of Jesus.
I cancel demonic assignments of confusion, fear, addiction, perversion, torment, rebellion, and division.
No spirit of strife, no whisper of shame, no agent of chaos will dwell here.
I declare this home is holy ground. I forbid familiar spirits and generational bondage from continuing through my children.
My house will not host what Heaven hasn’t approved.
I call angels to stand guard at every threshold. I invite the Spirit of God to dwell richly in this place.
I speak peace, wisdom, clarity, and breakthrough in every corner.

I used to wonder why I cried every time I worshipped.
Nothing was wrong.
I wasn’t sad.
Sometimes I’d walk into church completely fine, the music would start, and suddenly tears were streaming down my face.
I thought, Why am I so emotional? 😭
But the closer I’ve gotten to God, the more I understand…
Sometimes your soul recognizes His presence before your mind can even put words to what you’re feeling.
Those tears aren’t always sadness.
Sometimes they’re surrender.
Sometimes they’re relief.
Sometimes they’re healing.
Sometimes they’re gratitude.
Sometimes it’s the weight you’ve been carrying finally falling at His feet.
There are moments during worship when I don’t even have a prayer.
I just cry.
Because when you’ve been through seasons where God was the ONLY reason you made it through, worship hits differently.
So if you’re the person crying during worship while everyone else seems perfectly fine…
Let the tears fall.
You don’t have to explain what happens in your heart when you’re in the presence of the One who knows every part of it. 🤍

Sometimes God will ask you to do something that makes absolutely no sense.
And your willingness to say yes anyway will change everything.
Perhaps the change will affect you or someone else, or a situation.
Sometimes, obedience is not comfortable or logical. And it usually never comes with an explanation.
Obedience does not require understanding to act.
And yet, sometimes obedience does require preparation in the midst of not even knowing how or why.
Obedience will open doors that experience never will.
God will often test your obedience.
He asks you to give something up, or do something with no explanation.
He may call you somewhere that terrifies you.
But you go anyway.
You do anyway.
You make the decision to obey the voice of the Lord.
He asks you to choose faith over every logical reason not to.
He asks you to stop asking why and start asking what.
“What do you need from me Lord?”
“What are some areas in my life where I need to bring before you?”
“What are those things I should let go of in this season?”
It is futile to try and figure it out on your own.
God’s purposes are beyond our understanding.
You may not even fully understand or know the reasons right away, or until even decades later.
But this we know, obedience requires faith in God who can do the impossible.
It requires trusting even when we’re not guaranteed an explanation or for see any possible outcome.
That is what faith is all about!
And where does faith come from?
Well, according to Romans 10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The more you stay in the Word the louder that voice gets.
Learning to trust it over everything else is one of the most important things God will ever teach you.
