San Diego BOD is pleased to announce that we are planning to celebrate Pir-e Sabz (Chak-Chak). Sabz means green in Farsi and the alternative name, Chak-Chak, is said to be derived from the sound of dripping water from the mountains. Our plan to celebrate Pir-e Sabz, is to start a walk from Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail Head, surrounded by beautiful trees and walk all the way to a small creek that may remind us of the Chak-Chak. Please join us for this celebration according to below information:
 
When: Sunday June 12th at 8.00 AM

Location: Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail Head(12350 Black mountain Rd. 92129)
Distance: Approximate 4 – 5 miles (about 3 hours walk)
What to bring: bring your own snack ,plenty of water and walking/hiking shoes

پیر سبز یکی از زیارتگاه‌های مهم زرتشتیان در استان یزد و شهرستان اردکان در کوههای بین اردکان و انجیره است . زرتشتیان هر سال از روز ۲۴ خرداد به مدت ۵ روز در این زیارتگاه دور هم جمع شده و به نیایش میپردازند .
برای اولین بار گروه مدیران زرتشتی سن دیگو میخواهد خاطره زیارت پیر سبز را در سن دیگو ‌کالیفرنیا زنده کند . بنابراین بنا داریم در روز یکشنبه ۲۲ خرداد ۱۴۰۱ مطابق١٢ جون ۲۰۲۲ پیاده روی ۳ الی۴ مایلی از ساعت ۸ بامداد تا ۱۲ نیمروز از
Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail Head   (12350 Black Mountain Rd.,92129)   به طرف چشمه و حوض آب ذلال از میان
در ختان سر سبز بهاری داشته باشیم
کودکان ۵ سال به بالا هم اگر کفش مناسب ، مقداری خوراکی و آب همراه والدینشان باشد می‌توانند در این راهپیمائی شرکت کنند .

در فضائی خانوادگی ، پیاده‌روی شبانه، شعبده بازی، روشن کردن آتش و بالاخره کرایه قایق و ماهیگیری از برنامه های پیش بینی شده است . وسایل کمپ و خوراک برعهده شما می‌باشد.

Come enjoy outdoor fun in a family-friendly environment. Activities include: guided night hikes, campfire with s'mores, and a magic show. Fishing permits and boat rental may be purchased for a nominal fee. Camping equipments and food are campers responsibilities.

Dear Zoroastrian Community
We are proud to announce the great news that the Board
of Trustees (BOT) and San Diego Board of Directors (SD.
BOD) of California Zoroastrian Center have unanimously
voted for the purchase of the property located at 1721
Hornblend St. San Diego, CA, 92109 for the purpose of
educational, cultural, spintual, gatherings, entertainments
and last but not least to bring our youngsters, seniors and
all in between, closer together.
The size of the building is 3528 sf with the lot size of 9371
sf which includes attached open parking. In addition to
that, the building includes kitchen, meeting halls, stage
and storage room.
The Board of Trustees of California Zoroastrian Center
has scheduled a General Assembly Meeting on Saturday
June 11th, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Orange County
Westminster Center.
The purpose of this special General Assembly is to share
our excitement in informing you and obtaining the majority
of active member's approval, to proceed with the purchase
and acquisition of the property.
If more than 50% of the members do not attend on this
date, then according to the CZC bylaws, another meeting
will be held simultaneously on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at
2:00 PM at the Orange County Center in Westminster, as
well as at the prospective property located at 1721
Hornblend Street, San Diego, CA 92109, and via Zoom
Meeting (ID: 7148934737 Password: 101).
We look forward seeing you and encourage you to attend
the meeting and support your SD-BOD and your

Our community is finally going to have a place of our own to meet, teach, pray, share, dance, learn, and build. Come and see the potential!  Come and share your visions.  Then come and help make them a reality! There are so many events, classes, services etc. that we were unable to hold because we didn’t have a place of our own to work in. NOW WE DO AND NOW WE CAN!!! This is a very exciting time in our development as a successful Zoroastrian Community. It is so important for everyone of us to become involved in every way we can. Each member in San Diego has their own talents, gifts and experience.  Imagine if everyone shared these talents.  The sky is the limit.  We can truly make this an awesome place for our families. Think about the gifts, talents, resources you have.  Think how you could share them with your fellow Zoroastrians in the new San Diego Center.  Imagine how much could be accomplished.  Imagine how our community will grow, flourish when everyone shares their talents. There will be two dates for you to join us at the new center and share in the vision.
