Organ Harvesting is alive and well in Alabama Prisons

A Man named Charles Singleton died in an Alabama Prison - His body was Returned to his Family without any of his Organs, Including his Brain 

• The University of Alabama-Birmingham’s Department of Pathology performed the autopsy after he deceased.

• The family then requested the body be sent to a funeral home in Pell City. The funeral director told the family it "would be difficult to prepare his body for viewing" since it was already in a "noticeable state of decomposition and "advanced skin slippage."

• The family was then informed there were no organs in the body.

• It was explained to them, post-autopsy, the organs are usually placed in a bag and put back in the body. They were also told the brain was missing, which is HIGHLY unusual. But all of them were missing.

• The Singleton's family requested UAB return the organs, but they reported they never received the organs.

The singleton family came forward after hearing about what happens to the Dotson family, where a man named Clay Dotson was released to his family without his heart.
