Emergency crews are asking anyone within a half mile of the fire location to evacuate.

🚨Manchester New Jersey - Massive Forest Fire - affecting 500 Acres

Crews are battling a massive 500-acre forest fire in Manchester Township, Ocean County.

It's happening on federal, state and private property on along Route 539 and Horicon Ave. Twenty-five structures are being threatened at this time, according to officials.

The fire has reached 500 acres in size and is 10% contained.

The NJ Forest Fire Service says there is currently a mandatory evacuation on Division Street in Lakehurst.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
