CVE-2026-98893 - firmware: arm_scmi: Validate SENSOR_UPDATE payload size

CVE ID :CVE-2026-98893
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:37 a.m. | 34 minutes ago
Description :In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Validate SENSOR_UPDATE payload size SENSOR_UPDATE carries one or more sensor readings after the fixed notification header. The parser derives the expected reading count from the sensor description, but it did not verify that the received payload contains those entries before parsing them. Reject truncated update notifications before reading the variable array.

CVE-2026-98894 - drm/amd/ras: reset CPER ring on corrupt entry size

CVE ID :CVE-2026-98894
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:37 a.m. | 34 minutes ago
Description :In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/ras: reset CPER ring on corrupt entry size When CPER ring overflow handling advances the read pointer, it trusts the parsed entry size from the current ring contents. Corrupt CPER data can produce an entry size that does not advance rptr after dword conversion and pointer masking. In that case the recovery loop keeps testing the same location while holding the CPER ring mutex. This can hang the worker that is writing the next CPER record. Detect a no-progress rptr update and reset the CPER ring to an empty state instead. This drops the corrupt contents and lets the writer leave the recovery path without spinning.

CVE-2026-98895 - net/mlx5: HWS, Handle destroying table that has a miss table

CVE ID :CVE-2026-98895
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:37 a.m. | 34 minutes ago
Description :In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: HWS, Handle destroying table that has a miss table If a table has a miss table that was created by 'mlx5hws_table_set_default_miss' API function, its miss_tbl keeps the table that points to it in a list. If such table is deleted, we need to also remove it from the miss_tbl list, otherwise the node in miss_tbl list will contain garbage.

CVE-2026-98896 - thunderbolt: Keep the domain reference while processing hotplug

CVE ID :CVE-2026-98896
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:37 a.m. | 34 minutes ago
Description :In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Keep the domain reference while processing hotplug We process hotplug events in a workqueue that may run after the domain has been removed by tb_domain_remove(). For example if user unloads the driver while at the same time plugging a device router we may have scheduled tb_handle_hotplug() to run. Avoid possible UAF in this case by taking the domain reference before scheduling the hotplug handler in tb_queue_hotplug().

CVE-2026-112904 - Vvveb: Path Traversal in nextRestore() and nextBackup()

CVE ID :CVE-2026-112904
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:45 a.m. | 26 minutes ago
Description :Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. In versions 1.0.8.6 and prior, the nextRestore() and nextBackup() functions in the backup controller accept a file GET parameter and concatenate it directly to DIR_BACKUP without calling sanitizeFileName(). This allows an authenticated administrator to read arbitrary files on the server (via nextRestore) and write SQL dump content to arbitrary locations (via nextBackup). This is inconsistent with the sibling functions restore(), delete(), and download() which all correctly call sanitizeFileName() first. This issue has been patched via commit aa29cb0.

CVE-2026-98897 - ksmbd: don't hold ci->m_lock while waiting for a lease break ack

CVE ID :CVE-2026-98897
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 11:54 a.m. | 18 minutes ago
Description :In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: don't hold ci->m_lock while waiting for a lease break ack When a cifs.ko client caches a read-handle (RH) lease via deferred close and a conflicting open arrives, ksmbd breaks the lease and waits for the acknowledgment in wait_for_break_ack() for up to OPLOCK_WAIT_TIME (35s). __smb_break_all_levII_oplock() runs that wait while holding ci->m_lock for read. cifs.ko reacts to a handle-lease break by closing the deferred handle rather than sending a lease break acknowledgment. That close path (close_id_del_oplock() -> opinfo_del()) takes ci->m_lock for write and is exactly what would wake the waiter, but it blocks on the read lock held by the waiting thread. The break is then resolved only by the 35s timeout, so xfstests generic/001 takes ~78s with leases enabled versus ~4s with oplocks only. Collect the target opinfos (each pinned with a reference) while holding ci->m_lock, then break them after releasing it, matching how smb_grant_oplock() already breaks a conflicting lease using only a reference. The reference keeps the opinfo (and its conn and lease) alive across the unlocked window, and a close racing the break is handled by the existing OPLOCK_CLOSING state check. Apply the same fix to the parent lease break paths.

CVE-2026-115786 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Shared-File Mailbox Quota Accounting Error Enables Quota Exhaustion

CVE ID :CVE-2026-115786
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :A mailbox quota-accounting vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user to consume another user’s mailbox quota by repeatedly sharing and revoking a document. Creation of the recipient’s shared-file record charges the document size to mailbox-wide usage. Revocation deletes the record and reverses its folder counters without reversing the mailbox-wide charge. Repeated normal share notifications therefore accumulate quota usage after the visible records are gone. On accounts with a finite quota, this can prevent incoming mail and other size-increasing operations without recipient interaction. The issue affects ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20.

CVE-2026-50053 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite RestFilter Request Attribute Override via Unauthenticated URL Parameters

CVE ID :CVE-2026-50053
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :A request attribute override vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows unauthenticated requests to /h/* to populate servlet attributes intended for trusted internal dispatch. RestFilter copies URL parameters specifying an authentication token, target account, target item and dispatch state into the request attributes consumed by the Classic Web Client. Combined with CVE-2026-10632 on ZCS 10.1.16, this allows an attacker to supply their own valid token and document identifiers and execute JavaScript in another user's signed-in browser session. ZCS 10.1.17 blocks that XSS chain by changing the document renderer, but retains the request attribute override.

CVE-2026-50056 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Local Privilege Escalation via zmmailboxdmgr JVM Argument Injection

CVE ID :CVE-2026-50056
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the zmmailboxdmgr launcher of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows the Unix zimbra account to execute arbitrary commands as root. The passwordless sudo interface accepts JVM arguments that are not adequately restricted. An attacker can postpone Jetty's privilege drop, register an OnOutOfMemoryError command and force heap exhaustion during startup, causing the command to execute while the JVM still runs as root. Exploitation requires local command execution as zimbra on a mailbox server and interrupts mailboxd during the malicious restart. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.

CVE-2026-50057 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Local Privilege Escalation via Unrestricted Postfix Sudo Permissions

CVE ID :CVE-2026-50057
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) MTA package allows the Unix zimbra account to execute arbitrary commands as root. The installed sudo policy permits passwordless root execution of Postfix administration commands without restricting their arguments. An attacker can select a zimbra-controlled daemon_directory in the Postfix configuration and invoke postfix set-permissions, causing Postfix to execute the attacker's post-install program as root. The Postfix configuration directory is also writable by zimbra, so restricting postconf alone does not remove the execution path. Exploitation requires local command execution as zimbra on an MTA node. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.

CVE-2026-53918 - odhcpd DHCPv6 IA dangling first pointer use-after-free

CVE ID :CVE-2026-53918
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. Prior to version 25.12, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA handler keeps a per-message `first` lease pointer so multiple IA options in one message reuse the same Reconfigure authentication key. A DHCPv6 REQUEST from an adjacent-network client can make the first IA set `first`, then make a later same-IAID IA fail the on-link check and free that same lease, leaving `first` dangling. A following IA in the same packet allocates a new lease and copies `first->key`, producing a 16-byte heap-use-after-free read. ASan confirms the UAF; native tracing shows the packet shape can deterministically reclaim the freed lease as the destination allocation, producing a zeroed Reconfigure key copy. The validated impact is unauthenticated adjacent-network denial of service and DHCPv6 Reconfigure/ForceRenew key confusion. Arbitrary PC control is not proven for this UAF alone. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.

CVE-2026-53920 - odhcpd DHCPv6 Short IA_NA/IA_PD Body Stack Disclosure

CVE ID :CVE-2026-53920
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. From version 17.01.0 to before version 25.12.3, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA parser accepts an IA_NA or IA_PD option whose body is shorter than struct dhcpv6_ia_hdr, casts the option header to that full structure, and reads ia->iaid before proving that the IA body contains the IAID field. If an unauthenticated network-adjacent client places a zero-length or otherwise short IA option at the end of odhcpd's 8192-byte receive stack buffer, the IAID read crosses from data_buf into adjacent stack memory. The disclosed bytes are then reflected in the DHCPv6 reply IAID; prior ARM validation showed data_buf[8192:8196] disclosing the saved stack canary, and wider stack scans can leak ASLR-useful stack/process contents. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.3.

CVE-2026-53921 - odhcpd: Stack buffer overflow in DHCPv6 IA reply serialization (2 independent sites)

CVE ID :CVE-2026-53921
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. Prior to version 25.12, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA response handler writes past the end of a fixed 512-byte stack buffer (pdbuf) when a single DHCPv6 REQUEST carries enough IA options to nearly exhaust the reply space. Two independent overflow sites exist in the same call chain, both reachable from the network via a single unauthenticated UDP packet. odhcpd runs as root on OpenWrt; embedded targets often lack stack canaries and ASLR, making code execution realistic. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.

CVE-2026-55606 - odhcpd: Stack buffer overread via DUID length endianness mismatch in memcmp()

CVE ID :CVE-2026-55606
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. In versions 25.12 and prior, odhcpd's DHCPv6 self-loop detection at dhcpv6.c:720 uses a network-byte-order DUID length value directly as the memcmp() size parameter. On little-endian hosts, this causes memcmp() to read far beyond the stack buffer — a single unauthenticated DHCPv6 packet triggers a 2560-byte overread from a 128-byte buffer. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

CVE-2026-57208 - Entire CLI: Path traversal in checkpoint session metadata allows arbitrary file write during resume/rewind

CVE ID :CVE-2026-57208
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :Entire CLI hooks into Git workflows to capture AI agent sessions. Prior to version 0.7.7, a path traversal vulnerability in Entire CLI allows an attacker with push access to the checkpoints repository to craft malicious checkpoint metadata that causes entire session resume or entire checkpoint rewind to write attacker-controlled transcript data outside of the expected session directory. The issue occurs because checkpoint metadata is fetched from the remote entire/checkpoints/v1 branch and the SessionID field was used to construct filesystem paths without validation in the restore path. A malicious SessionID containing absolute paths or path traversal sequences could cause arbitrary files on the victim’s machine to be overwritten. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.7.

CVE-2026-93627 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Calendar Processing Authentication Bypass via Forged iCalendar CANCEL/REQUEST Organizer

CVE ID :CVE-2026-93627
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :An organizer authentication vulnerability in the email calendar processing of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated sender to cancel or modify an existing meeting in a recipient's calendar. Zimbra accepts iCalendar CANCEL and REQUEST components without verifying that the email sender is authorized to act as the supplied organizer. An attacker who knows the meeting UID and organizer address can supply a non-outdated sequence number to move the recipient's meeting to Trash or replace its details. Processing occurs automatically during email delivery without recipient interaction. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.

CVE-2026-93628 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Calendar Processing Authentication Bypass via Forged iCalendar REPLY Attendee Response

CVE ID :CVE-2026-93628
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :An attendee authentication vulnerability in the email calendar processing of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated sender to forge another attendee's response to an existing meeting. Zimbra passes a null sender identity when processing iCalendar REPLY components, causing the attendee authorization filter to be skipped. An attacker who knows the meeting UID, organizer address and attendee address can send a non-outdated reply that changes the attendee's participation status in the organizer's calendar. The change occurs automatically during delivery without organizer or attendee interaction. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.

CVE-2026-93629 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Calendar Processing Authentication Bypass via Forged iCalendar REQUEST Organizer Identity

CVE ID :CVE-2026-93629
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :An organizer authentication vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated email sender to insert calendar invitations attributed to another user. The email delivery path permits external invitations but does not verify that the message sender is authorized to use the iCalendar ORGANIZER identity. When automatic invitation insertion is enabled, a crafted REQUEST component creates an event containing attacker-selected meeting details and reminders under a forged organizer without recipient interaction. No corresponding event is created in the claimed organizer's calendar. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.

CVE-2026-93630 - Zimbra Collaboration Suite Email HTML Sanitizer Bypass via Hostname Canonicalization

CVE ID :CVE-2026-93630
Published : Oct. 23, 2026, 2:17 p.m. | 35 minutes ago
Description :A hostname canonicalization vulnerability in the email HTML sanitizers of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated sender to bypass the restriction on forms that target the Zimbra host. DefangFilter and the OWASP ActionAttributePolicy compare the form-action hostname with the request hostname before browser URL canonicalization. A percent-encoded hostname can therefore survive sanitization while the browser submits the form to the normal Zimbra origin with the recipient's authentication cookie. This permits authenticated form requests from a crafted email after the recipient opens it in Classic and submits the form. The issue is present in ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21. It does not bypass an endpoint's CSRF-token checks; a state-changing attack additionally requires an endpoint that accepts the resulting request without that protection.
Severity: 4.3 | MEDIUM
