CVE-2026-35501 - Bypass of a configured island trust anchor underneath an insecure parent from an atacker-controlled NSEC record.
CVE ID :CVE-2026-35501
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 9:17 a.m. | 2 hours, 36 minutes ago
Description :When NLnet Labs Unbound 1.0.1 up to and including version 1.26.1 is configured with both a root trust anchor and an additional 'trust-anchor:' for an island-of-security zone whose parent is provably insecure under the root chain, a malicious actor with a forged NSEC reply with the SOA bit cleared can trick Unbound to treat the configured trust island as insecure. This happens because the DNSSEC validator in Unbound accepts and caches the NSEC insecure response bypassing the RRSIG validation that the validator was supposed to do. The acceptance of the NSEC record at the trust anchor apex was allowed due to and old fix for type DS and NSEC queries from clients when trust anchor for that name existed.

CVE-2026-50106 - Possible insecure NXDOMAIN for non-existing records under a configured island trust anchor underneath an insecure parent.
CVE ID :CVE-2026-50106
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 9:17 a.m. | 2 hours, 36 minutes ago
Description :When NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.26.1 is configured with both a root trust anchor and an additional 'trust-anchor:' for an island-of-security zone whose parent is provably insecure under the root chain, a malicious actor who can deliver one forged NXDOMAIN response for a name inside the island, with the NSEC/SOA RRSIG 'SignerName' set to the insecure parent, tricks Unbound's validator to use the root trust anchor instead, and consecutively the insecure parent, thus causing that record to be treated as insecure and denying existence for records in the trust island.

CVE-2026-70386 - OnePlus OxygenOS improper neutralization of special elements vulnerability
CVE ID :CVE-2026-70386
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 9:17 a.m. | 2 hours, 35 minutes ago
Description :Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS command injection') and Missing Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. Any locally installed Android application, with no permissions declared and no user interaction beyond launching it, can execute arbitrary shell commands as uid 0 in the u:r:dumpstate:s0 SELinux domain. Two defects combine: (a) OnePlus's atlasservice binder interface accepts setEvent(String8 name, String8 value) from any caller without authorization, and (b) one event handler (OplusAtlasLogWriter::handleEvent, matching event name atlas_event_multimedia_audio_dumpsys) copies the caller-supplied value into the system property oplus.audio.dumpinfo.type and starts the root init service audiodumpinfo, which passes that property value unsanitized to system(). This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000.

CVE-2026-70387 - OnePlus OxygenOS exposed dangerous method vulnerability
CVE ID :CVE-2026-70387
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 9:17 a.m. | 2 hours, 35 minutes ago
Description :Exposed dangerous method or function and Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. The olc2 logging HAL exposes a binder method that fork()'s and calls execl("/vendor/bin/sh", "sh", "-c", cmd, NULL) with a caller-supplied command string. The only authorization check is getCallingUid() == 0. Because SELinux policy grants binder access to this HAL to a wide client attribute, any uid-0 process in any of those domains (including dumpstate, which is reachable from an unprivileged app via Vulnerability 1) obtains arbitrary command execution. The spawned shell lands in u:r:vendor_qti_init_shell:s0 SELinux context via a policy type_transition, a domain holding all Linux capabilities. This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000.

CVE-2026-85683 - Jane Menu < 1.5.1 - Unauthenticated Stored XSS via Store Config Proxy URL
CVE ID :CVE-2026-85683
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 9:17 a.m. | 2 hours, 35 minutes ago
Description :The Jane Menu WordPress plugin before 1.5.1 does not have any capability or nonce checks on one of its form handlers, which is reachable by unauthenticated users, allowing them to bind any published page to a remote document of their choosing. The plugin then fetches that document and outputs its head and body into the page without escaping, so an unauthenticated attacker can run arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any visitor to that page, including an administrator.

CVE-2026-48830 - Apache bRPC: HTTP builtin request can mark a connection authenticated and bypass auth for later requests
CVE ID :CVE-2026-48830
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 11:30 a.m. | 22 minutes ago
Description :Improper authentication in Apache bRPC through 1.17.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication for protected non-builtin HTTP endpoints by first sending a builtin HTTP request on the same HTTP/1.1 keep-alive connection. When ServerOptions.auth is enabled and builtin HTTP services are exposed on the public listener, a builtin request received as the first message on a socket may cause the connection to be treated as authenticated for later requests on that socket. CVE-2026-54425 - Apache bRPC: Stack Exhaustion via Recursive HPACK Dynamic Table Size Update Decoding
CVE ID :CVE-2026-54425
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 11:31 a.m. | 21 minutes ago
Description :Uncontrolled recursion in the HTTP/2 HPACK decoder in Apache bRPC before 1.18.0 allows remote attackers to cause denial of service by sending a crafted HTTP/2 header block containing many consecutive Dynamic Table Size Update entries. Each update was decoded by recursively invoking the HPACK decoder, which could exhaust the thread stack before a header field or end of input was reached. Root Cause: The bRPC HPACK decoder recursively decoded the next entry after processing a Dynamic Table Size Update. The decoder did not bound the recursion depth, so a long sequence of update entries could consume excessive stack space. Affected Scenarios: Use bRPC with the built-in HTTP/2 implementation to accept HTTP/2 traffic from an untrusted network. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3343 Note: The fix changes HPACK Dynamic Table Size Update decoding to use iterative parsing instead of recursive parsing.

CVE ID :CVE-2026-54426
Published : Oct. 21, 2026, 11:32 a.m. | 20 minutes ago
Description :Uncontrolled recursion in the Redis reply parser in Apache bRPC < 1.18.0 allows a remote Redis server peer to crash a bRPC Redis client process by returning a deeply nested RESP array reply. The parser recursed once for each nested array level without enforcing a depth limit. The fix adds a configurable Redis reply depth limit with default value 128 and rejects replies exceeding that limit. Affected Scenarios: Applications using bRPC as a Redis client with ChannelOptions.protocol="redis" and receiving replies from an untrusted or faulty Redis server peer. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to 1.18.0. 2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3344 . Note: After applying the fix, Redis replies with array nesting deeper than redis_max_reply_depth are rejected.
Severity: 0.0 | NA
