CVE-2026-107724 - fast-jwt treats raw public JWK JSON as an HMAC secret, enabling HS256 token forgery

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107724
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 9:53 p.m. | 29 minutes ago
Description :fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. In 6.2.4, fast-jwt can classify raw serialized public JWK or JWKS JSON as an HMAC secret because src/crypto.js performDetectPublicKeyAlgorithms treats non-PEM strings as symmetric key material. If HS256 is explicitly allowed or inferred, an attacker who knows the exact serialized public-key bytes can use those bytes as an HMAC key and create a token containing arbitrary claims that createVerifier accepts. Serialization ordering or whitespace differences can prevent exploitation, and applications using supported PEM keys with an asymmetric-only algorithm allowlist are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0.

CVE-2026-107725 - Hazelcast: Authorization bypass in IMap Predicates API

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107725
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 10:04 p.m. | 18 minutes ago
Description :Hazelcast is a unified real-time data platform combining stream processing with a fast data store. Prior to 5.4.5, 5.5.10, and 5.6.1, missing authorization checks in the IMap Predicates API allow a malicious client with limited privileges to execute arbitrary code on a Hazelcast cluster member. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.5, 5.5.10, 5.6.1, and 5.7.0.

CVE-2026-107726 - Hazelcast: Arbitrary member memory access by low-privileged client

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107726
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 10:08 p.m. | 14 minutes ago
Description :Hazelcast is a unified real-time data platform combining stream processing with a fast data store. Prior to 5.4.5, 5.5.10, and 5.6.1, improper validation of data supplied by a malicious client able to connect to a cluster allows arbitrary reads from a cluster member's Java heap, off-heap data, and JVM process address space. The same flaw can crash cluster members and, in some Hazelcast Enterprise Edition configurations, corrupt memory with possible arbitrary code execution. Both slim and full distributions are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.5, 5.5.10, 5.6.1, and 5.7.0.

CVE-2026-107737 - SumatraPDF CHM `its://` signed index causes an out-of-bounds object lookup

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107737
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:16 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.6.1 and earlier, and in pre-release 3.7.0.20369 when WebView2 is absent or cannot initialize, ParseProtoUrl() accepts the signed host component of an its:// URL and FindHtmlWindowById() uses it directly as an index into gHtmlWindows. Opening a crafted CHM through the IE fallback backend with a negative or otherwise out-of-range window identifier can cause an out-of-bounds pointer read followed by an invalid object callback dereference and process termination. No fixed version is available as of this review.

CVE-2026-107738 - SumatraPDF: Untrusted binary record offset used without lower-bound validation

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107738
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:16 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.6.1 and earlier, ChmFile::GetCharZ() narrows file-controlled unsigned string offsets from /#WINDOWS and /#IVB to signed integers without a lower-bound check. An offset that becomes negative can make the function read before the /#STRINGS buffer, causing deterministic application termination. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review.

CVE-2026-107802 - SumatraPDF — Windows command-line argument injection in AI selection-translate

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107802
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.6.1 and earlier, src/SelectionTranslate.cpp embeds selected or pasted translation text in quoted Windows command lines using incomplete quote-only escaping. The affected BuildGrokTranslateCmdLineTemp(), BuildClaudeTranslateCmdLineTemp(), and BuildCodexTranslateCmdLineTemp() functions can allow attacker-controlled text to inject model, working-directory, approval, or sandbox-bypass flags when the corresponding agentic CLI backend is installed and used. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review.

CVE-2026-56857 - Root.Mkdir(All) can follow junctions out of the root on Windows in os

CVE ID :CVE-2026-56857
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :On Windows, when the target of Root.Mkdir or Root.MkdirAll is a junction pointing to an empty location, the operation can create a directory at the junction target even when that target is located outside the root. This only applies to operations where the last path component is a junction (path/to/junction, but not path/junction/target).

CVE-2026-56866 - HTTP/1 client connection desynchronization after CONNECT rejection in net/http

CVE ID :CVE-2026-56866
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :When http.Transport sends an HTTP/1 CONNECT request with a non-empty Request.Body, it writes the body directly to the connection without framing after the request headers. If the server rejects the CONNECT request with a non-2xx keep-alive response, Transport returns the connection to the idle pool. Because CONNECT requests do not have a request body, the server may interpret the trailing body bytes as a subsequent pipelined HTTP/1.1 request on the connection, leaving the pooled connection desynchronized and causing the next caller that reuses it to read the response to the injected request. In reverse proxies (including httputil.ReverseProxy) that forward CONNECT requests through a shared Transport, this can lead to cross-user response poisoning.

CVE-2026-78659 - HTTP/2 server memory exhaustion due to Trailer headers in net/http

CVE ID :CVE-2026-78659
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :When "Trailer" headers are sent by a client, the HTTP server internally uses the header values to populate the Request.Trailer map passed to the server handler. Because Request.Trailer is a map, each entry incurs memory overhead. For HTTP/2 servers, a malicious client can exploit this by sending a "Trailer" header that declares a large number of fields, causing the server to allocate a disproportionate amount of memory while bypassing Server.MaxHeaderValueCount and Server.MaxHeaderBytes limits. This exploit is not applicable for HTTP/1 servers, which do not support multiplexing a large number of requests over one TCP connection, and whose Server.MaxHeaderBytes are calculated differently.

CVE-2026-78660 - HTTP/2 transport accepts malformed framing-related headers in net/http

CVE ID :CVE-2026-78660
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 6 minutes ago
Description :Historically, we have been rather lax about malformed framing-related headers in our HTTP/2 implementation, as they cannot interfere with HTTP/2 framing. However, this makes it possible for our HTTP/2 implementation to forward responses containing such headers to an HTTP/1 client when acting as a reverse proxy. If the HTTP/1 client also does not behave strictly enough, this can result in response smuggling.
