CVE-2026-76278 - Authorization Bypass in SPL2 Module Permissions in Splunk Enterprise

CVE ID :CVE-2026-76278
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 9:17 p.m. | 57 minutes ago
Description :In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a user that holds a role with the edit_spl2_module_permissions capability could use the affected Representational State Transfer (REST) API to access permission grants for SPL2 modules that the user does not have permission to view. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Enterprise does not verify that the user can read the requested app before the affected REST API returns SPL2 module permission grants. For more information see Module permissions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/modules-statements-and-views/module-permissions) and Manage SPL2 modules (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/spl2-search-manual/multiple-searches-in-an-spl2-module/manage-spl2-modules) in the Splunk documentation. Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4.x are not affected.

CVE-2026-107230 - AsyncHttpClient: Pooled connections can still be shared across NTLM, Negotiate and proxy logins

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107230
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 10:17 p.m. | 4 hours ago
Description :The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 3.0.14, connection-pool partitioning still omits identity-defining fields for Kerberos, SPNEGO, NTLM, and authenticated proxy connections. Logins without a configured principal, proxy realms, identities sharing a user name, and SOCKS or CONNECT proxy logins can reuse a socket authenticated as a different identity. A later request is then executed under the first identity and can expose that identity's data or authority to another caller. In the affected execution path, SpnegoEngine, NTLM, Kerberos, SPNEGO, SOCKS, and CONNECT control or expose the vulnerable behavior. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.

CVE-2026-107231 - AsyncHttpClient: Digest challenge without a usable nonce downgrades to Basic and sends the password in cleartext

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107231
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 10:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 59 minutes ago
Description :The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, Realm.Builder treats a Digest challenge that yields no usable nonce as a Basic challenge. A malicious origin or proxy can label a challenge Digest while omitting or emptying the nonce, causing the client to resend the username and password using reversible Basic authentication. Both origin and proxy challenge parsers are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1.

CVE-2026-107232 - AsyncHttpClient: Origin credentials sent in cleartext to a proxy that rejects the CONNECT

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107232
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 10:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 59 minutes ago
Description :The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.12 on 3.x and 2.16.1 on 2.x, the client infers that an HTTP proxy tunnel exists from the last request method rather than the CONNECT result. After a proxy rejects CONNECT, redirect or authentication handlers can write an origin request and its Authorization credentials onto the still-plaintext proxy connection. Basic credentials can be recovered directly, while NTLM responses may be cracked or relayed. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.12 and 2.16.1.

CVE-2026-107279 - AsyncHttpClient: Digest mutual authentication is switched off by a peer offering qop=auth-int

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107279
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 10:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 59 minutes ago
Description :The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. In 3.0.12, a peer offering only Digest qop=auth-int causes mutual-authentication verification to be skipped. AuthenticatorUtils.computeExpectedRspAuth returns no expected value for auth-int, and Interceptors treats that result as unverifiable but nonfatal, so a response with an invalid rspauth value is accepted. A peer that does not know the shared secret can therefore be accepted as the authenticated server. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.13.

CVE-2026-107280 - AsyncHttpClient: Cookie Domain attribute is not checked against the public suffix list, so a cookie can be set for co.uk

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107280
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 10:17 p.m. | 3 hours, 59 minutes ago
Description :The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, ThreadSafeCookieStore validates Domain attributes with domain matching but does not reject public suffixes. A host beneath a suffix such as co.uk can set a cookie for that suffix, after which the shared cookie store sends it to unrelated hosts under the suffix. This can inject or overwrite session-relevant cookie values across origins. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1.

CVE-2026-107314 - pgjdbc does not enforce requireAuth when the value excludes every authentication method

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107314
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours ago
Description :pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.11 through 42.7.13 enforce no restriction when the requireAuth connection property excludes all six authentication methods the driver knows, for example requireAuth=!password,!md5,!gss,!sspi,!scram-sha-256,!none. The driver then accepts any method the server asks for, including cleartext password authentication. A value without a method in it, such as requireAuth=, (a single comma), is affected the same way. An attacker positioned between the application and its server can ask for cleartext password authentication and receive the database password. A positive list such as requireAuth=scram-sha-256, and a partial exclusion such as requireAuth=!password,!md5, are enforced correctly. The property has no default value, so a deployment that does not set it is not affected. 42.7.14 fixes the problem: such a connection is refused with SQLState 08004, and a value without a method in it is rejected as invalid.

CVE-2026-89322 - Vault ACL Policy Evaluation May Allow Bypass of Deny Restrictions

CVE ID :CVE-2026-89322
Published : Oct. 7, 2026, 11:17 p.m. | 3 hours ago
Description :Vault and Vault Enterprise did not consistently evaluate ACL policies against the canonical form of resource and policy names. This may allow an authenticated user with delegated permissions to bypass an explicit deny restriction and access a protected resource or assign a denied policy, potentially leading to privilege escalation. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-89322) is fixed in Vault Community Edition 2.1.2, and Vault Enterprise 2.1.2, 1.21.12, 1.20.17, and 1.19.23.

CVE-2026-107315 - pgjdbc pads a value shorter than its declared length with bytes of earlier statements (rather than zeros)

CVE ID :CVE-2026-107315
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 12:16 a.m. | 2 hours ago
Description :pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 through 42.7.13 pads a value that is shorter than its declared length with bytes left in its send buffer instead of zeros, and the server stores those bytes as part of the value. The bytes are messages the driver sent earlier on the same connection: SQL text and parameter values of recent statements, which on a pooled connection can come from other requests. Each padded value can carry up to 8192 bytes of this traffic, or 16320 bytes on a connection with GSS encryption. The padding happens when an application declares a length larger than the data it supplies, through PreparedStatement.setObject with a ByteStreamWriter, CopyIn.writeToCopy, PGCopyOutputStream.write, LargeObject.write, or Blob.setBytes. The driver accepts these calls without an error. An attacker who can make the application store such a value and read it back can collect earlier traffic. Applications whose declared lengths always match their data are not affected. Versions 42.7.3 and earlier pad with zeros.

CVE-2026-17538 - Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress <= 5.6.9 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Insecure Direct Object Reference to Arbitrary Customer PII Modification

CVE ID :CVE-2026-17538
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 12:16 a.m. | 2 hours ago
Description :The LatePoint - Appointment Booking & Reservation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 5.6.9. This is due to the process_step_customer() function using is_user_logged_in() as the sole gate before merging POSTed customer data into an existing LatePoint customer, without any ownership checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the personal information (first name, last name, email, phone, notes) of arbitrary LatePoint customers, and, when the contact_merge setting is 'phone', to overwrite the victim's email address and take over the account via a password reset.

CVE-2026-87682 - Brocade Fabric OS OS Command Injection Vulnerability

CVE ID :CVE-2026-87682
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 1:01 a.m. | 1 hour, 16 minutes ago
Description :Multiple OS Command Injection vulnerabilities exist in the management interface and session processing routines of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. Input processing flaws during remote management connection validation and session verification for directory-based user accounts allow untrusted input containing shell metacharacters to reach internal system execution wrappers. An authenticated user or a compromised directory service account can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary operating system commands with elevated privileges on the target device.

CVE-2026-87683 - Brocade Fabric OS REST API Stack-Based Buffer Overflow

CVE ID :CVE-2026-87683
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 1:07 a.m. | 1 hour, 9 minutes ago
Description :Multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the REST API management component of Brocade Fabric OS versions prior to 10.0.1. When processing API request payloads (such as device configuration attributes or port mapping requests) the REST API service fails to properly validate incoming array counts and string lengths against internal buffer capacities. An authenticated attacker with REST API access can transmit crafted, oversized request parameters to induce memory corruption on the execution stack. This may result in a denial-of-service condition (daemon crash) or potential arbitrary code execution within the management process context.

CVE-2024-8122 - Potential brute force vulnerability due to non-expiring SMS OTPs

CVE ID :CVE-2024-8122
Published : Oct. 8, 2026, 1:16 a.m. | 1 hour ago
Description :The WSO2 Identity Server fails to enforce a default expiry time for SMS One-Time Passwords (OTPs) used in multi-factor authentication (MFA). This allows unused OTPs to remain valid indefinitely, presenting an opportunity for malicious actors to conduct brute force attacks by repeatedly guessing the OTP. The absence of automatic expiration for OTPs grants attackers an unlimited timeframe to attempt guessing the correct code. A successful brute force attack can lead to an MFA bypass, resulting in the unauthorized takeover of a user's account and compromising the security and privacy of both the individual and the system.
