CVE-2026-71851 - crypto-js: Insufficient Entropy in Cryptographic Secret Generation via Vulnerable CryptoJS Dependency Chain

Description :crypto-js is a JavaScript library of crypto standards. Versions of crypto-js prior to 4.0.0 generate randomness in CryptoJS.lib.WordArray.random() using a custom variation of the Multiply-With-Carry pseudorandom number generator, seeded from Math.random(), instead of a cryptographically secure source. This generator was introduced in version 3.1.2-4 and remained present in nearly every 3.x release. Nominal requests for 128 or 256 bits of entropy through this function produce effective search spaces of approximately 2 to the 39th and 2 to the 47th possibilities, small enough to enumerate on commodity hardware. Downstream wallet applications that used CryptoJS.lib.WordArray.random() as the entropy source for BIP39 recovery phrases are affected, and an attacker who enumerates the reduced output space can recover the resulting private keys and control the associated funds. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0.

This issue is fixed in 6.15.0.

A caller with config-entry write permission can submit a service-router configuration entry that causes the agent to exit unexpectedly. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-19012, is fixed in Consul 2.0.3 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.17, 1.22.11, and 2.0.3.

Through version 1.7.0, multiple layer decoders use attacker-controlled lengths, counts, or offsets before validating them against packet buffers, allowing a crafted packet decoded through DecodingLayerParser or DecodeFromBytes to trigger an unrecovered panic and remotely deny service. A patch commit is available at 210f25f.

Description :HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, the hidden scan command concatenates attacker-controlled Implementation Guide titles, profile titles, and source references into scan.html without escaping in Scanner.java. As a result, a user who scans an attacker-supplied IG/profile and then opens or publishes the generated local/CI HTML report can trigger stored cross-site scripting, executing attacker-controlled JavaScript in the report's browser context. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.

Description :Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.109, `AuthInjectionMiddleware.dispatch()` at `http_auth_integration.py:272` unconditionally forwards unauthenticated Streamable HTTP requests to downstream MCP tool handlers without issuing a `401` response, allowing any network-reachable caller to invoke MCP tools without authentication. When no per-request credential is present, tool handlers fall back to the `META_ACCESS_TOKEN` environment variable, and when the downstream Meta Graph API call fails, `api.py:263–269` serialises the raw `httpx` request URL—including the operator's `access_token` as a query parameter—into the JSON-RPC response body, delivering the credential to the unauthenticated caller. Version 1.0.109 fixes the issue.

Impacted is the function ExecTool._guard_command/ExecTool._spawn of the file nanobot/agent/tools/shell.py of the component Shell Allowlist Handler. Such manipulation leads to os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Upgrading to version 0.3.0 is recommended to address this issue. The name of the patch is 4562. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. Multiple issues were reported to the project. They reacted with a high level of professionalism and kindness: "These five reports are variants of the same root cause: validation of shell commands containing multiple segments, wrappers, comments, or chained commands. The issue was fixed by validating every executable shell segment against the configured allowlist".

CVE-2026-48007 - Element Call reports full URLs of visited pages to analytics server

Description :Element Call is a native Matrix video conferencing application. Versions 0.5.17 through 0.19.3 report analytics data to a PostHog server, when configured to by a `posthog` key in config.json or by the `posthogApiHost` and `posthogApiKey` URL parameters. Several fields of this data (`$initial_person_info`, `$session_entry_url`, and `$current_url`) were found to contain the full URL of the user's visited page, including the fragment. Users of a standalone Element Call ‘SPA’ instance such as https://call.element.io may therefore have reported the full URLs of certain calls, including encryption passwords, to the configured PostHog server, potentially compromising the confidentiality of the calls to actors who could access both the PostHog analytics data and the encrypted media streams. The same issue is present in Element Call's embedded package, but in practice it does not impact applications using this package (including Element Web, Element Desktop, Element X iOS, and Element X Android) because they distribute encryption keys over Matrix rather than encoding a password in the URL. The issue is patched in Element Call 0.19.4. Some workarounds are available. Users may opt out of analytics in the 'Feedback' tab of Element Call's settings and create new links for future calls. Admins who host Element Call as a standalone application may disable PostHog analytics entirely by removing the `posthog` key from their deployment's config.json file.

Description :HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, the JSON utility parser in org.hl7.fhir.utilities.json.parser.JsonParser enforces no maximum nesting depth for arrays or objects. As a result, a small but deeply nested, syntactically valid FHIR JSON document can trigger unbounded readArray() or readObject() recursion, raising a StackOverflowError before structural validation runs. An attacker who can submit JSON resources for validation can thus crash the request thread, and services that do not isolate StackOverflowError safely may experience worker loss or process instability — a denial-of-service condition. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.

Description :Pathling is a set of tools that make it easier to use FHIR and clinical terminology within health data analytics. Prior to version 2.0.0 of Pathling Server, Pathling's `/$result` endpoint allows a caller who can obtain any valid async export job ID to supply `file` parameter values containing path traversal sequences. The handler verifies only the supplied `job` and never normalises or confines the requested `file` path to that job's `jobs/` directory before opening it as a filesystem resource. Because async export scratch space lives under the same warehouse database root as persisted resource tables, an attacker can use their own export job to read other files from the warehouse. This is fixed in Pathling Server 2.0.0. The `$result` handler now resolves and canonicalizes the requested file path and rejects any request that escapes the job's `jobs/` directory. As an interim mitigation, disable the async export operations (`pathling.operations.exportEnabled`, `patientExportEnabled`, `groupExportEnabled`, `bulkSubmitEnabled`) or enable authentication and restrict export capability to trusted callers.
