Cortisol is often called the “stress hormone” because it’s released during moments of stress. Chronic high cortisol levels can have negative effects on your health, including fatigue, weight gain, and disrupted sleep. Fortunately, there are several effective ways to lower cortisol levels naturally. Here’s how you can do it:

Grounding (Earthing): Grounding involves connecting directly with the earth, whether by walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil. The simple act of grounding can help reduce cortisol levels by calming your nervous system and promoting a sense of well-being. The earth’s natural electric charge may balance your body’s own electrical systems, reducing stress and enhancing relaxation.

Walk in Nature: Spending time outdoors in nature, whether in a park or forest, can significantly lower cortisol. Nature walks have been shown to decrease stress, improve mood, and enhance overall mental health. The calming effects of natural environments help regulate your body’s stress response, leading to lower cortisol levels.

Regular Meals: Skipping meals or irregular eating patterns can lead to spikes in cortisol. Eating at regular intervals throughout the day, with balanced meals containing protein, healthy fats, and fiber, helps to stabilize your blood sugar levels. This prevents unnecessary cortisol surges caused by hunger or blood sugar dips, keeping your energy levels steady.

Sauna: Using a sauna is a fantastic way to relax and lower cortisol levels. The heat from the sauna induces a relaxation response in the body, which helps reduce stress. Regular sauna use has been associated with decreased cortisol levels and improved overall mood.

Less Screen Time: Excessive screen time, particularly before bed, can elevate cortisol levels. The blue light emitted by screens interferes with your natural circadian rhythm and disrupts sleep, which in turn increases cortisol. Reducing screen time, especially in the evening, helps lower cortisol and improves sleep quality.

Hobbies: Engaging in activities you love, whether it’s reading, crafting, painting, or playing music, can act as a form of relaxation. Hobbies are a great way to distract your mind from daily stressors and lower cortisol levels. They provide an enjoyable escape, fostering a sense of accomplishment and reducing anxiety.

Incorporating these simple practices into your daily routine can have a profound impact on lowering cortisol levels and promoting overall well-being. By grounding yourself, taking nature walks, eating regularly, using the sauna, cutting back on screen time, and nurturing your hobbies, you can reduce stress and improve your physical and mental health.

UMBILICAL CORD TRUTH

They cut those cords KNOWING they are jam-packed full of stem cells!

Then they try to sell those stem cells back.

We are not meant to cut and clamp umbilical cords. Cord circulation continues for 30+ minutes after birth meaning for over 30 minutes, stem cells, blood, and vital nutrients are meant to be pumping into the baby.

When the cord is clamped right away, the child usually gasps for air because they are receiving oxygen from the cord.

This is why babies can be born underwater and not drown, as they don't need to use their lungs right away.

Letting the cord detach on its own, like all animals in the wild, allows for maximum stem cell and blood transfusion to the baby, leading to healthier, more developed babies.

SLEEP ISSUES ?

Consider this information to weigh through your choices…

Ambien Induced Sleep May Increase Risk of Dementia.

The average person spends a third of their life sleeping. Adults require around seven hours of sleep for the body’s regenerative and restorative mechanisms to do their jobs.

Sleep sometimes doesn’t come easily. Thirty-one percent of adults don’t reach the target amount.

Sleep is essential to flush out our brains, maintain healthy blood pressure, suppress unwanted memories, reduce chronic pain, decrease the risk of dementia, and maintain healthy cognitive function—the list goes on.

While the availability of quick fixes for sleep problems may seem appealing, they could disrupt the brain's natural self-cleansing abilities.

A study published on Jan. 8, as reported by Epoch Times, suggests that the common sleep medication Ambien may raise the risk of Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders.

Sleep drugs may assist the body in falling and staying asleep, but they don’t provide the same qualities of naturally occurring sleep.
Natural slumber occurs more readily with healthy living, such as regular exercise, eating right, pleasurable daytime activities, practicing gratitude, intermittent fasting, sufficient vitamin D, and sunshine.

Popping a pill before bed may seem like an easy alternative to maintaining a healthy lifestyle but cultivating natural sleep is worth it.

OPTIMIZING VIT D

- essential for maintaining health especially when we are not in direct sunlight

Vitamin D is crucial for immune system regulation and helps manage autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.

Low vitamin D levels are correlated with an increased risk of autoimmune thyroid diseases.

Vit D has shown promise in reducing disease activity and improving treatment outcomes in autoimmune thyroid disorders by enhancing the innate immune response.

Vit D’s potential in managing autoimmune diseases
is promising, offering a noninvasive strategy to mitigate the impacts of conditions like Hashimoto’s disease.

Optimize your vitamin D levels —

Incorporate whole food sources rich in vitamin D, such as wild-caught Alaskan salmon, that supports thyroid health, but the best way to optimize your vitamin D levels is to spend about 20 to 25 minutes under direct sunlight daily, preferably around solar noon when UVB rays are most effective.

This natural approach helps your body produce the active form of vit D
(calcitriol) that has been found to be superior to other vitamin D supplements.

If you’re still consuming vegetable oils and ultraprocessed foods, it’s best to avoid harsh sunlight exposure, especially during or close to noon. Vegetable oils are loaded with linoleic acid (LA), which is the most
pernicious ingredient in your diet, and stays in your skin; it oxidizes under intense sunlight and causes sunburn.

Optimizing  Vit D levels is key to keep your health in check.

MAGNESIUM
- concerns when it is low

• Low magnesium levels significantly increase DNA damage in healthy adults, accelerating cellular aging and increasing the risk of chronic degenerative diseases
• Magnesium plays a crucial role in DNA replication and helps maintain the double helix structure
• Magnesium is essential for brain health, modulating immune responses and acting as an antioxidant. It also supports synaptic plasticity, learning and memory functions
• Adequate magnesium levels are vital for blood sugar control, insulin sensitivity and cellular energy production. Magnesium deficiency leads to insulin resistance and metabolic disorders like Type 2 diabetes
To optimize magnesium levels, consider supplements like magnesium threonate, consume magnesium-rich foods and try alternative methods such as Epsom salt baths or topical application for better absorption.
