AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE
“What if the immune system is actually acting properly,” and it’s attacking the body for a reason, but you just have to figure it out?
He argues that, in most cases, you can trace the root cause of autoimmune disease back to four broad categories:
• mold and mycotoxins
• heavy metals
• viruses
• and parasites.

HEATH CRISIS IN PLAIN SITE
Glyphosate Exposure and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Risk:
The public has become acutely aware of glyphosate, an environmental toxin.
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, has become one of the most controversial chemicals in modern agriculture. Marketed since the 1970s by Monsanto, later acquired by Bayer AG, glyphosate’s widespread use transformed global food production — and, many argue, public health.
Touted as “safe enough to drink,” the reality is far darker. Mounting epidemiological evidence links glyphosate exposure to non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in farm workers and general populations living near sprayed areas.
Despite hundreds of studies suggesting toxicity, regulatory agencies still support it’s use on crops & widespread foods.

Low Vitamin D Levels Raise Risk of Hospitalization for Respiratory Tract Infections
Low vitamin D doesn't just make you more likely to catch a respiratory infection - it increases the odds that a routine illness escalates into a hospital stay or a life-threatening setback. New research shows how a silent deficiency weakens airway defenses, delays recovery, and raises the stakes once infection strikes.

MAGNESIUM
- let’s revisit magnesium
There are 2 forms of magnesium that are beneficial to our body.
Magnesium L-Threonate
&
Magnesium Bis-Glycinate
Both are forms of magnesium, but they do different jobs in the body.
Magnesium L-Threonate
• Magnesium bound to L-threonic acid (a vitamin C metabolite)
• Key feature: crosses the blood–brain barrier more effectively
Best for:
• Brain health & cognitive function
• Memory and learning support
• Sleep quality (calmness, not sedation)
• Potential support in age-related cognitive decline
Why:
Magnesium L-threonate significantly increases magnesium levels inside the brain, important for synaptic activity and neuroplasticity.
👉 Think: “brain-focused magnesium”
⸻
💪 Magnesium Bis-glycinate (Biglycinate)
• Magnesium bound to glycine (an amino acid)
• Very highly absorbable and gentle on digestion
What it’s best for:
• Muscle relaxation and recovery
• Reducing cramps and tension
• Stress and anxiety support
• General magnesium deficiency
• Sleep (more body relaxation/sedative effect)
Why:
Glycine is calming to the nervous system, so has a double relaxation effect (magnesium + glycine). It’s also less likely to cause digestive upset compared to other forms like citrate.
👉 Think: “body + relaxation magnesium”

Can you take both?
YES
Daytime: L-threonate (focus, cognition)
-Evening: bisglycinate (relaxation, sleep)
They complement each other rather than compete.
Why this combo works so well
• They use different absorption pathways
• They target different systems:
-L-Threonate → brain
- Bis-glycinate → body + nervous system

GLAUCOMA
Read about some prevention methods to maintain eye health
STORY AT-A-GLANCE
- Glaucoma is an asymptomatic eye disease that quietly damages the optic nerve; it's the second leading cause of blindness worldwide, affecting over 80 million people.
- A study in the British Journal of Ophthalmology explored whether using pillows that elevate the head during sleep could affect eye pressure in people with glaucoma
- Sleeping too little or too long, especially when combined with excess body weight, may increase your risk of glaucoma
- Statin use may raise glaucoma risk, with studies showing higher odds even when cholesterol levels are well-managed
- You can start taking care of your vision by doing simple eye exercises, avoiding seed oils, choosing foods that benefit your eyesight, spending enough time in the sun, quitting smoking, and establishing healthy routines

Strategies to Relieve Eye Strain
Modern technology causes eye strain by reducing natural blinking rates when using screens
The 20-20-20 rule
- take longer breaks — look 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes.
Another variation is taking five-minute breaks hourly.
Blue light from screens disrupts your sleep patterns by suppressing melatonin production, affecting your circadian rhythms significantly.
Regular exercise benefits your eye health by reducing risks of dry eye disease, myopia,
cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration through body-wide effects
Lutein and zeaxanthin from leafy greens protect your vision by filtering harmful blue light
and concentrating in the macula, reducing macular degeneration risk
Are you experiencing tired, achy eyes lately? You’re not the only one, as modern technology, particularly the excessive use of screens and rampant exposure to blue
light, has caused a massive increase in eye strain.
Try pencil push-ups —commonly used to train your eyes to converge when looking at an object near you, which can help improve eyesight.
Here’s how to perform this exercise:
1. Hold a pencil at arm’s length. The pencil should be vertical, with the eraser pointing upward just below eye level. Then, position it in front of your nose.
2. Move the pencil to your face while concentrating your vision on the eraser. Stop after you see two pencils rather than one.
3. Slowly move the pencil back to arm’s length while focusing on keeping a single image.
4. Begin the exercise for 30 seconds, then build up to 60 seconds three times a day

Exploring Castor Oil’s Health and Beauty Benefits
Despite once quoted as being ‘dreadfully uneasy to take,’ castor oil has many healing qualities recognized from ancient times to today.
By Alexandra Roach
Epoch Times
Castor Oil’s Modern Therapeutic Relevance
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves castor oil as a stimulative laxative, meaning that officials recognize the benefits of application in cases of constipation and see value in the oil’s use in certain types of medical procedures; for example, during the preparation of the bowel before a colonoscopy.
The FDA also acknowledges that castor oil has been used in alternative medicine for centuries, yet, the lack of certain research prohibits the agency from approving further medicinal uses. The research that does exist, however, is encouraging.
Soothing to Skin
Castor oil has demonstrated moisturizing qualities and may increase collagen production, one animal study suggests. Its antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties make castor oil a favorable ingredient in biocidal wound dressings, lotions, and creams treating acne, redness, or other irritations of the skin, as well as after-sun products.
Even hyperpigmentation, caused by an increased production or distribution of melanin, can be treated with castor oil. Those dark skin spots were the topic of a dermatological clinical trial in which 25 patients were instructed to use castor oil cream twice daily for two months. Results indicated that the therapy “significantly reduced the melanin level, wrinkles, and skin laxity” in treated areas.

14 Practical Reasons to Stock a Bottle of Castor Oil at Home

The Journal of Oleo Science concerns itself primarily with the properties of oils and fats. The authors of a 2022 article confirmed castor oil’s usefulness “as a bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, and antiherpetic agent,” which makes it a valuable anti-viral in cold sore formulations and other herpes virus treatments.
Based on all of these favorable qualities, the cosmetic industry uses castor oil as an ingredient that shields the skin against environmental influences. Furthermore, it functions as an agent against premature aging of the skin. It reduces wrinkles and prevents new ones from developing, especially in combination with virgin coconut oil, another study finds.
Calming to the Eyes
In addition, castor oil seems a suitable, safe, and tolerable therapeutic agent for people suffering from dry eyes, blepharitis (inflammation and swelling of the eyelids sometimes caused by an overgrowth of microscopic mites), or meibomian gland dysfunction. The oil displays “strong anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-nociceptive, analgesic, antioxidant, wound healing and vaso-constrictive properties,” states a 2021 review published in Clinical and Experimental Optometry. Studies included in the review indicated that a topical application of castor oil increased the tear film layer and improved diagnosing capabilities through ocular surface staining tests.
However, other sources suggest that castor oil’s non-sterility may be a reason not to use it in the eyes.
Enhances Hair Growth and Suppleness
Indigenous knowledge of hair oils and their usage was published in a 2022 review, which showed that castor oil adds moisture to the hair, nourishes hair follicles, and protects against scalp irritation. Its fungicidal qualities also counteract dandruff, as well as other “fungal and microbial infections.” In addition, the oil might even aid hair growth.
The combination of castor oil’s properties may provide hair with extra shine and elasticity, and soothe dry and red scalp.
Another study, titled “Bioactive-Based Cosmeceuticals: An Update on Emerging Trends,” cites castor oil as being “used as a component in hair oils, as it moisturizes the scalp, eases dandruff and, additionally, complements the fitness of hair follicles and, in turn, promotes hair growth.”
