Can We Control Aging

Telomeres are protective DNA caps at the ends of chromosomes that prevent genetic damage when cells divide

Every time a cell divides, telomeres get a little shorter.

- as they shorten, we age

When they become too short, the cell can’t divide properly and stops functioning to eventually die.

Studies show
associations but not definitive proof of making telomeres extend:

- Omega-3
- Vitamin D (if deficient)
- Curcumin
- Green tea extract

Important: No supplement has been ‘proven’ to lengthen telomeres in humans.

However, these supplements are key to overall health. A healthy person can set the stage for our divinely intelligent bodies to restore & heal & that may very well include extending the telomeres.

Exercise regularly
Sleep well
Manage stress
Eat a Mediterranean-style diet
Maintain healthy weight
