There’s a course that you MUST take in the upcoming 2 weeks called Student Success Suit (SSS)
It’s a flexible time schedule (you can take the course whenever you want but must finish within 2 weeks time)
You can take this course online or in the digital library at main campus (it’s up to you)
If you have no access to the internet, you MUST go to main campus digital library 3rd floor at 7 LT and register your name there
You’ll receive a certificate after finishing the courses
But if you have internet access you can take the course on your phone or laptop
First go to https://courses.aau.edu.et and register using your student email you created at the start of first semester
Next click on “Open enrollment catalog”
You’ll see around 11 courses there but courses you must take are the following:
1. How to study effectively
2. How to evaluate resources
3. Set goals to manage your time
4. Academic integrity
5. Keeping yourself safe online
6. Strategies for successful online learning
7. How to take a course

Select “Enroll” under these courses and start the course
You’ll receive a certificate after finishing the courses which is essential

There has been a gossip about a potential breakdown of certain school departments and an increase in the number of major options available for pre-Engineering students.

As many of you know, we currently have six schools, offering six possible majors. However, this time, there are plans to expand the number of available majors to nine. If this change is implemented for the 2016 batch, it could present a significant opportunity for you. The new majors being considered are Leather Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering, which were previously offered as streams.

While we await official confirmation from the university, we wanna share this information as it has been communicated from our college office. We will provide you with organized and verified details as soon as they become available.
