“A money transmitter is any person engaged in the transfer of funds — any funds, including cryptocurrencies and bitcoin. If you are running a Lightning node, you are acting as a money transmitter. It doesn’t matter that you don’t like it. The law doesn’t care.”

I've heard the uninformed masses talking about the MIT license. They say CSW can't go back on the MIT license even if he was Satoshi (I know...they love shifting the goalposts).
The MIT license clearly states: "A short, permissive software license. Basically, you can do whatever you want as long as you include THE ORIGINAL COPYRIGHT and license notice in any copy of the software/source" (https://tldrlegal.com/license/mit-license).
This is how the original code looked: "// Copyright (c) 2009 Satoshi Nakamoto
// Distributed under the MIT/X11 software license, see the accompanying
// file license.txt or http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php."
(https://github.com/trottier/original-bitcoin/blob/92ee8d9a994391d148733da77e2bbc2f4acc43cd/src/script.cpp#L826).
And the Coreians' code changed the copyright so it has become null and void. This is how the copy right reads now: "The MIT License (MIT) Copyright (c) 2009-2019 The Bitcoin Core developersCopyright (c) 2009-2019 Bitcoin Developers" (https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/COPYING).

MIT License (Expat) Explained in Plain English - TLDRLegal
MIT License (Expat) summarized/explained in plain English.
Court documents released by Craig Wright’s legal defense against Ira Kleiman on 06/11/2019 have confirmed in a legal setting that he mined the first 70 blocks of Bitcoin.
Dr. Craig Wright Confirms He Mined the First 70 Bitcoin Blocks
"Everything that was used to mine after the 70th block was placed into an encrypted file including all information pertaining to the addresses. The private key needed to access these files were split into multiple key shares using a version of “Shamir’s Secret Sharing Algorithm” which provides a method for splitting something like a private encryption key into multiple parts. The parts of the key were spread to multiple participants in the trust. This goes some way to explain why Dr. Wright has been unable to provide the public addresses for the bitcoin held by the trust (the addresses for the coins mined after block 70). "

Pues tras leer las 50 páginas de la alegación de Craig, lo más probable no es solo que se desestime la demanda de Ira Kleiman contra Wright, sino que además Ira se va a encontrar una contrademanda de Wright vs Kleiman por fraude.
"Unfortunately for curious followers of this bizarre legal drama, federal magistrate judge Bruce Reinhart sealed the files. This means that the crypto-sphere will have to wait a little longer before they can see proof of Wright’s claims that he’s the inventor of bitcoin".
