Note - MCLR ( established in 2016) ---- internal Benchmarking rates .....( It is not linked with repo rate ).. the issue was that the "transmission of monetary policy " was not successful ( eco concepts )

From Oct 2019, RBI made mandatory for all banks to link their lending rates to external benchmarking ....( Was in current affairs )

Statement 1 is ABSOLUTELY correct !!!

Mahatma Gandhi was the ONLY Hindu leader present at the All India Khilafat Conference 1919

Statement 2 looks correct but it's not ( if you interpret by reading spectrum , it looks correct ๐Ÿ˜„) ...But in reality , the statement is wrong .

The Khilafat leaders were NOT particularly ( they were obviously concerned but not in particular )concerned with the fate of the Khalifa in the middle East; for them, khalifa was a symbol that united the "Muslims" in India .
