Q.110) Consider the following statements about Ocean Energy Systems ( OES ) 1. It is an inter-governmental collaboration between countries for R&D to harness energy from all forms of ocean renewable energy 2. It operates under the framework established by…
In this question, option 1 is straight to-the-point.

Option 2 is factual...So, if you know about IEA properly, you will be able to solve this.....because INDIA is not a member of IEA ( bec to become a member of IEA, membership of OECD is required )

Option 3 is tricky....the unique fact is that INDIA is a member of OES ( which itself comes under the framework of IEA )

UPSC DOES THIS !!!!!

Q.109) Consider the following statements about Academia Alliance Program 1. It aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and it's industrial application inorder to increase the efficiency of technology. 2. Its an unique entrepreneurship opportunity…
This is also a tricky mcq...how to solve it ????.👇👇👇

The word is "Academia Alliance programme".

First of all, it talks about some alliance with academics ( or innovation ). So, statement 2 is good to go with.

Now , if statement 2 is correct, automatically we can guess that statement 1 is correct ( bec it is related somehow )

* The issue comes with statement 3. Mostly you guys will think it's HRD because of the word "academia" in the question.....but that's NOT the case .....Remember this fact --- STARTUPS means ministry of Commerce & Industry . ( Startupindia comes under ministry of commerce & industry )
Consider the following statements about "contempt of courts"

1. The Constitutional provisions of contempt of court also have a legal backing

2. The Attorney General's prior consent in writing is required for the Supreme Court to initiate criminal contempt proceedings

3. Any amendments in the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 will impact the inherent constitutional powers of SC & HC to punish anyone for its contempt

4. There were pre-independence laws of contempt in India in early high courts and in some courts of princely states

Magadha didn't have monopoly ....upsc plays with "words" make the wrong option believable !!!

Magadha had comparative freedom from Brahmanical orthodoxy .... It's a fact ( it looks wrong , but in reality it's correct )
