To participate on Huawei ICT competition and Huawei Seeds for the Future Program, first you all need to be member of Huawei ICT Academy.

Huawei ICT Competition is an annual technical competition among global higher education institutions. Since launched in 2015, Huawei ICT competition has been successfully held for 6 times, attracting hundreds of students from over 2000 universities in more than 70 countries. Last year Marks the 6th Huawei ICT Competition globally and it also marks the 4th time that Ethiopian students will compute the global computation. Through this competition, Huawei aims to challenge student’s ICT knowledge as well as practical and application skills, and ultimately inspire innovation.

There are two types of Competition:
1.  Huawei ICT Competition – Practice Competition (With two tracks: Cloud and Network)
2.  Huawei ICT Competition - Innovation Competition
The Innovation Competition is an international competition in the ICT field held by Huawei for students of higher education institutions worldwide, which intended to stimulate students' innovation and creativity, cultivate innovative talent, and explore new applications of emerging technologies in the future intelligent society. It is also an international platform of communication, demonstration, and cooperation for professionals in cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial intelligence (AI) and other technology directions.
