The Special Account (SA) closure is meant to align interest rates with how savings are used. Once they’ve set aside their Full Retirement Sum (FRS), any remaining SA savings will move to their Ordinary Account (OA), where they earn short-term interest and can be withdrawn easily 💰
Alternatively, they can transfer these savings to their Retirement Account (RA) for higher payouts by topping it up to the Enhanced Retirement Sum (ERS) 😍

The Government has accepted recommendations to enhance MediShield Life, keeping it relevant for Singaporeans amid rising healthcare costs and changes in the healthcare landscape. 🏥
With the MediShield Life enhancements, premiums will increase from Apr 2025, upon policy renewal. To ease this, the Government will be providing $4.1 billion in premium support over the next three years.
No one will be denied coverage due to an inability to pay their premiums. 💪
