𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗪𝗢𝗪)

Last weekend, Pastor Aaron Cheng preached a sermon titled "Live The Resurrection Life".

We sometimes tend to be passive and contented to separate our future hopes from present responsibilities. However, In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul tells us to abound, to be in abundance with the work of the Lord, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ for good works. Let us not regard any task given to us by God as too much for us to take on and follow through, but instead abound in them and learn to rely not on our strength but His as we go about them.

Special Presentation by MinDeaf
15 September | Sunday 10.45am Service

To commemorate International week of Deaf People 2024, which is from 23-29 September, COOS' own MinDeaf (Ministry of the Deaf) presented a song and prayer item at our Sunday 10.45am service. This is also the service where our MinDeaf family and various hearing volunteers attends together with the larger COOS family. ✝️

Watch this clip to see their presentation and the prayer - a thanksgiving to God for our church family and a reminder that this COOS family is made up of many parts but we are one body in Christ. ❤️

This year we have some hearing friends who just completed the Worship in Sign Language Level 1 class. To find out more about MinDeaf, approach us at the 10.45am service on Sunday.

Here is a summary of Pastor Aaron Cheng's sermon, "Live The Resurrection Life."

Jesus's resurrection marked the beginning of God’s new project and is the foundation for a renewed way of life in and for the world. As His disciples, we are to bring heaven here on earth and God's love into our schools, offices, and homes.

Let's press on in doing so and live a “purpose-driven life” of service for the Lord through it. God Bless.
