PENTECOST & MISSIONS WEEKEND
27 & 28 May

This weekend we are celebrating Pentecost and Missions. Our Associate Vicar, Revd Christopher Ho, will be touching on "Empowered for World Missions". Come hear the word of God shared.

The worship at English services this weekend will include performances by our tambourine and cajon groups. In addition, it is also Missions Weekend with 6 missions agencies on site to share about the work they do! Do come earlier or stay longer after service to look at their displays and talk to their representatives.

Let us come for service expecting the Holy Spirit to stir our COOS family to better witness for Christ and complete God's kingdom work that COOS may lift higher the banner of God's name!

P.S. If you cannot join us for service in church, do tune in to the livestream of our Sunday 10.45am service via this link https://youtube.com/live/nZ8-27bgiiE?feature=share.
Hear more stories from Ana and other COOS Missions teammates this Saturday and Sunday at our Missions Weekend!

Our COOS Missions team and these other 6 missions agencies will be in our Atrium to share more:
- Operation Mobilisation (OM)
- Interserve
- Worldwide Evangelism for Christ (WEC)
- Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF)
- Youth With A Mission (YWAM)

Prayer is the exercise of drawing on the grace of God. — Oswald Chambers

Remember to begin the day in prayer, in conversation with God. As we dwell in prayer, may we be reminded that each day we have is given by the graciousness of a merciful God.
"Revival is when God's people return to God and God returns to them, and everyone sees the difference." - Henry Blackaby

The difference begins when we desire to see revival. The difference begins when we are committed to praying for revival. Let us come together as one people of God, to pray and seek revival. Let us join in prayer to ask for the Holy Spirit to sweep through hearts whether these are hearts that are desiring more of God or hearts that have become comfortable with God or distant from God. Just come and be together as a family of God's people who desires to stand before Him and allow Him to touch our hearts and ignite us. He is waiting to do great things with us. #myCOOSsgfamily

Join us tonight at the Diocese Youth Prayer Night in St. Andrew's Cathedral New Sanctuary. Or come to service this weekend to celebrate Pentecost and as we cast the spotlight on Missions.
COOS Community Services presents "Happy Parents' Day"

As their neighbour, let us as a COOS family continue to make time to befriend them and through our visits show them God’s love.

You can also sign up to help us put together gift packs on the morning of 30 May. Visit the registration link for more info go.coos.org.sg/CSHPD2023.

Closing date for sign up is this Sunday, 28 May.

Our COOS Mission Trips for 2023 are on schedule and gaining traction and we want to encourage every believer to obey the Great Commission right here in Singapore and beyond! You can fulfil the call by joining one of our mission trips, forming your own team of Mission Trippers or even planning local outreaches.

Join us on 10 June, 5 August or 14 October for the 2nd run of our missions training programme which is like a “Missions Start-Up” discussion series — focusing on equipping you with the necessary knowledge and skills to catch God’s heartbeat for the nations. This will help you be more effective in your roles and in being a blessing to your team members, to the missionaries and especially to the local people.

The interactive training sessions includes panel discussions with practitioners — missionaries and experienced mission leaders — who will share their experiences and insights. Sign up now at go.coos.org.sg/missionstraining.
Unlabelled Run will be in our Atrium today (Saturday only) after our 2.30pm service and their representative will be sharing testimony at the 4.30pm Youth Service. Members who are keen to find out more about this run or would like to sign up, do visit the event booth this afternoon. The special registration code is still available to COOS members.
This weekend we have our Tambourine Dance performers and our Cajon Group as part of our worship experience to mark and celebrate Pentecost + Missions! Do note that we will need to close the ground floor doors into our Auditorium for the first 5 minutes of our English services* as the performance will proceed from the back of the Auditorium up to the stage.
