Britain approves Pfizer's antiviral COVID-19 pill
Britain has approved Pfizer's COVID-19 pill for adults who have mild to moderate infection and are at high risk of their illness worsening, its second easily administered antiviral against the coronavirus.
"Coadministration of COVID-19 vaccines with other vaccines
COVID-19 vaccines may be administered without regard to timing of other vaccines.
This includes simultaneous administration of COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines on the same day. If multiple vaccines are administered at a single visit, administer each injection in a different injection site. For people ≥11 years of age, the deltoid muscle can be used for more than one intramuscular injection administered at different sites in the muscle. For children (5–10 years of age), if more than two vaccines are injected in a single limb, the vastus lateralis muscle of the anterolateral thigh is the preferred site because of greater muscle mass.
Best practices for multiple injections include:
Label each syringe with the name and the dosage (amount) of the vaccine, lot number, the initials of the preparer, and the exact beyond-use time, if applicable.
Separate injection sites by 1 inch or more, if possible.
Administer the COVID-19 vaccine and vaccines that may be more likely to cause a local reaction in different limbs, if possible.
See general best practices and Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (The Pink Book) for further information."

Molnupiravir for Oral Treatment of Covid-19 in Nonhospitalized Patients
New treatments are needed to reduce the risk of progression of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). Molnupiravir is an oral, small-molecule antiviral prodrug that is active against severe acute res...
"For strongly positive samples (Ct < 25) sensitivities ranged between 66.7% and 100%, while for positive samples (Ct < 30) they gave a maximum sensitivity of 87.5%. The specificity of the tests was ranging between 79% to 100%. The results presented here are of high importance to the European Commission and also help governmental decision-making regarding the application of the proper rapid tests for screening different at-risk populations. Nonetheless, SARS-Cov-2 rapid tests play an important role in early and on-the-spot diagnosis of potentially infected individuals."

Roxanne Khamsi: We Are All Genetic Mosaics
Roxanne Khamsi's phenomenal book BEYOND INHERITANCE on the critical impact of our acquired, somatic mutations for health and disease
Understanding Genetic Mosaics and Somatic Mutations
• Our bodies are dynamic genetic mosaics, constantly evolving with trillions of acquired mutations daily, challenging the idea of a single, static genome.
• Cellular competition, an internal 'endoevolution,' allows fitter mutated cells to outcompete less fit ones, a concept theorized in the 19th century.
• Advances in single-cell sequencing have enabled detailed study of genomic mutations at the cellular level, revealing implications for health.
• Somatic mutations play diverse roles throughout life, influencing embryonic development, mid-life conditions like endometriosis, and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and heart failure.
• Environmental factors like UV light and pollution can induce somatic mutations, and research is exploring their role in aging, autoimmune diseases, and the potential for 'promolytic drugs' to prevent cancer.
