Hello friends,
Hope everyone is staying safe as Singapore transits into a new normal!

Pizza Hut is sponsoring 12,000 slices of pizza🍕 to migrant friends to bring them cheer and encouragement. Last week, we delivered 167 pizzas as part of this initiative.

We have made 929 dorm deliveries, provided a total of 51,025 meals, 1,081,737 dorm supply items and 25,049 PPE items. Our social workers have supported 360 cases concerning 2,771 migrant friends and 237 dorms. Our volunteers have given 347 haircuts to our migrant friends.

Highlights:
• Delivered 167 pizzas to our migrant friends
• Conducted stress management and relaxation classes for 303 migrant friends
• Made 217 migrant friends and 283 Singaporean befrienders on WePals
• Held a magic workshop with 16 migrant friends and 15 Singaporean befrienders

🤗 Hello friends,

We hope everyone has been benefiting from getting more face to face time with extended family and friends in Phase 2! Last week, we received a donation of 100 carrom boards for our migrant friends to help them pass time as they continue staying in during this phase. 316 pizzas were also delivered as part of Pizza Hut Singapore’s sponsorship initiative. Every amount of support received means a whole lot to our migrant friends!

We have made 991 dorm deliveries, provided a total of 52,761 meals, 1,132,316 dorm supply items and 25,049 PPE items. Our social workers have supported 380 cases concerning 2,795 migrant friends and 237 dorms. Our volunteers have given 452 haircuts to our migrant friends.

Highlights:
• Delivered 100 carrom boards to our migrant friends
• Delivered 316 pizzas - Pizza Hut Singapore’s sponsorship initiative
• Conducted stress management and relaxation classes for 376 migrant friends
• Made 223 migrant friends and 286 Singaporean befrienders on WePals to date

Hello friends,

Last week, CMSC held a virtual town hall with 52 migrant friends from five dormitories to understand their concerns. By understanding their evolving needs, CMSC is able to adapt and reinforce our support for our migrant friends in Singapore.

We have made 1,031 dorm deliveries, provided a total of 55,099 meals, 1,144,277 dorm supply items and 25,049 PPE items. Our social workers have supported 401 cases concerning 2,872 migrant friends and 237 dorms. Our volunteers have given 534 haircuts to our migrant friends.

Highlights:
• Received 30 cartons of chocolates for our migrant friends
• Received a donation of 10 phones on Majulah Belanja
• Conducted stress management and relaxation classes for 403 migrant friends
• Made 520 migrant friends and 292 Singaporean befrienders on WePals to date

Last week, CMSC collaborated with Smart Nation Singapore to train our migrant friends on digital government services like #TraceTogether, SGWorkPass and FWMOMCares so that they can return to work safely.

The third episode of LETTERS, a musical webisode developed by Shabir Music Asia was also released! Did you enjoy this latest webisode?

We have made 1,077 dorm deliveries, provided a total of 57,485 meals, 1,204,652 dorm supply items and 25,049 PPE items. Our social workers have supported 417 cases concerning 2,889 migrant friends and 237 dorms. Our volunteers have given 641 haircuts to our migrant friends.

Highlights:
• Delivered 2,386 meals to our migrant friends
• Collaboration with Smart Nation Singapore to train our migrant friends on digital empowerment government services
• Release of LETTERS’ third episode, a musical webisode collaboration with Shabir Music Asia

Hi guys! International Migrants Day, 18 Dec, and Christmas, 25 Dec are coming up and we're still looking for about 20 more volunteers for our week-long activities!

*Summary*
From 14-20 Dec, we will be a week-long having open top bus tours for our migrant friends to get a breather out of their dormitory and soak up the festive lights along the city.

On 18-19 dec, we'll be having a mini-bazaar with booth for games and giveaways to engage workers at the recreation centre.

*Dates:*
16 Dec (Wed) 3-6pm
17 Dec (Thurs) 3-6pm
18 Dec (Fri) 3-6pm and/or 6-10pm
19 Dec (Sat) 3-6pm

*Volunteer activities include:*
Wed, Thurs: Pre-event packing of giveaway care packs and snacks

Fri, Sat: Facilitating game booths such as chapteh and beer pong, engaging migrant friends in the games, crowd management, set-up and tear-down of booths

To celebrate CNY with our migrant brothers, CMSC will be delivering CNY goodies and greeting cards to our migrant friends living in several dormitories islandwide on 11th and 13th Feb (lunch)!
