$Ethscape is a gameplay will be based off the classic osrs but built from code up on osps.

Closed Beta releasing end of May 2022.

- Characters:
It will be starting with 3 “baseline” Characters. These are to allow a unique playstyle in terms of personal progression and team building within the gameplay. In time they plan to add additional characters with set classes and skills to level up. Currently, there are 2 class sets at play, Tank, and striker. In time they plan to introduce Healer, Archer, and Wizard class sets. Each class set will have a different experience to the factors of weapon mastery, Skills to train/not-trainable, Items to be obtainable, and shops access to only their class, Questlines, and more.

- Ranks:
Ranks in-game will differ from the normal Dono system within osrs. They will be tying % of the Total supply held within $Ethscape to your corresponding rank label in-game. The way will be to 1st pass a login with MetaMask(other wallet integrations in time) where it will read your % held and then proceed you to the Main login screen of $EthScape.

- Gems:
$Gem will represent the P2E aspect as well as the customization roles under the Ethscape brand. Gems will be a sub-token under $Ethscape with 100,000 supplies, funded by the Ethscape brand.

We are excited to release an upgraded version of the Scroll Pre-Alpha Testnet! 📜

The upgraded Pre-Alpha Testnet will be the first chance for early developers to experience contract deployment on Scroll and to interact with our infrastructure.

Our new test-net upgrade enables smart contract deployment on the Scroll network.

This allows developers to write and deploy their own contracts on Scroll using the same Ethereum developer tools we all know and love!

What's Included?

(a) Developers will be able to deploy smart contract applications using tooling like Hardhat and Foundry.

(b) Users can bridge NFTs and user-defined ERC-20s between our Layer 1 and Layer 2 test-nets on our upgraded bridge contract.

(c) We have made sequencer indexing permission-less by allowing anyone to run a follower Scroll node which syncs Layer 2 state changes.

As we continue to progressively scale our proving nodes, we will continue to relax the performance-motivated restrictions currently in place in order for us to onboard more testers as the Scroll network matures.

How can I get involved?

While testnet registration is open to anyone, we are permissioning access at this stage as we scale our proving cluster.

What's next for Scroll?

Soon after this upgrade, we will release our Alpha Testnet. Our community can expect the following features:
