Over the past 24 hours, at least 2 civilians were killed and 30 others were injured as a result of strikes.
In the Kyiv region, eight people were injured, including a two-year-old girl, after a UAV hit a multi-story residential building in the city of Kyiv.
In the Sumy region, a man was injured during a UAV attack in the Seredyno-Buda community. A resident was wounded in a UAV strike on the Krasnopillia community. A man suffered burns in the Seredyno-Buda community as a result of an MLRS attack. A woman was injured in a UAV strike on the Buryn community.
In the Kharkiv region, a man was killed and his son was injured when a UAV struck a car in the village of Velyki Prokhody.
In the Donetsk region, a civilian was injured during a UAV attack on the town of Kostiantynivka.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman and her 15-year-old daughter were injured in the shelling of the town of Marhanets. A man and a woman were wounded in strikes on the Synelnykove district. A woman was injured in strikes on the city of Nikopol.
In the Kherson region, a police officer was injured near the village of Chornobaivka when a UAV hit a vehicle. A resident was wounded by triggering a landmine in the village of Novoberyslav. In the Sumy region, a man was injured during a UAV attack in the Romny community.
In the Kharkiv region, one man was killed and another was injured during an attack on the village of Slatyne. Five civilians were killed and four more were injured in an MLRS strike on the village of Novoplatonivka. In the town of Kupiansk, a man was killed in an MLRS attack and another civilian was injured in a UAV strike.
In the Donetsk region, one person was injured in strikes on the town of Kostiantynivka. A civilian was wounded during a UAV attack on the village of Iverske. Three civilians were injured in an airstrike on Kostiantynivka, and two emergency workers were wounded in a UAV strike targeting a State Emergency Service team.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a ballistic missile strike on the town of Kamianske killed three people, including a pregnant woman. Twenty-two others, including ten medical workers, were injured. Over the past 24 hours, at least 27 civilians were killed and 68 others were injured as a result of strikes.
In the Sumy region, a woman was injured during the shelling of a border village in the Esman community.
In the Kharkiv region, two men were injured by a drone-dropped munition in the village of Tokarivka. A woman was killed during an attack on the village of Lesna Stinka. In the city of Kharkiv, 11 people, including three children, were injured in a UAV strike.
In the Donetsk region, three civilians were injured in an airstrike on the town of Kostiantynivka. Six people were wounded in an attack on the town of Pokrovsk. One person was injured in the village of Sviatohorivka, and two others were injured in the town of Dobropillia.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a man was injured in a UAV strike on a village on the Chervonohryhorivka community. A woman was injured in a UAV attack on the Synelnykove district. Two children were wounded in a UAV strike on the Pokrovsk community.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, a man was injured in the village of Plavni. In the village of Veselianka, one man was killed and a woman was injured in an MLRS strike. A man and two women were injured in an attack on the village of Malokaterynivka.

A man who had been injured in a UAV strike on the town of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region on July 31 died in hospital. Two civilians were killed in an attack on the town of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region on July 30, and two more were killed in an airstrike on the city of Kramatorsk on July 31.

Attacks and shelling on both sides of the frontline in June 2025 killed at least 282 civilians and wounded a minimum of 1,972. These are the highest monthly casualty figures since our monitoring project began in January 2024.
The situation worsened in July, when 335 people lost their lives, almost 19% more than in June. 2,228 civilians were injured, marking a 13% increase. Indiscriminate force harms several times more civilians in Ukrainian-controlled territory. During June and July this year, four out of every five casualties occurred in these areas.
The only way to meaningfully reduce civilian casualties in Ukraine is through the delivery of additional air defense systems and the development of effective, low-cost countermeasures against Shahed-type loitering munitions.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two civilians were wounded in a series of artillery strikes and UAV attacks on the city of Nikopol. One person sustained injuries in a series of artillery strikes and UAV attacks on the Nikopol district. One resident was injured in a UAV strike on the Synelnykove district.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, one civilian was wounded in an attack on the village of Zarichne. Two people sustained injuries in a UAV strike on the village of Bilenke. Two residents were killed in a UAV attack on the Stepnohirsk rural community.
In the Kherson region, a teenager sought medical attention following a UAV strike on the city of Kherson on August 3. One civilian was wounded due to the shelling of the village of Darivka. Four people were injured in UAV attacks and another resident sustained injuries in a strike on the city of Kherson. One civilian was wounded by a drone-dropped munition in the village of Sadove.
In the occupied territories of the Luhansk region, one person was killed and five others were injured in a UAV attack on a passenger bus in the town of Novodruzhesk. Five residents were killed and another was wounded in a series of UAV strikes on the town of Svatove.
In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, one civilian was injured by a drone-dropped munition in the city of Horlivka.
In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, one person was wounded in a strike on the town of Oleshky.
In the Bryansk region, Russia, two employees of a water utility company were injured in a UAV attack on the village of Sopychi.
In the Belgorod region, Russia, one person was wounded in a UAV strike on the village of Vesyolaya Lopan. One resident sustained injuries in an attack on the town of Shebekino. Two people were injured in a UAV strike on a civilian car in the town of Dunayka.
Additionally, a number of new civilian casualties resulting from previous strikes have been reported. In the Kharkiv region, a resident wounded in an attack on the village of Novoplatonivka on July 29 has died in the hospital. In the Kherson region, one civilian sustained injuries in a strike on the village of Bilozerka on July 27.

Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: August 5-6, 2025 CIT Volunteer Summary
Over the past 24 hours, at least 12 civilians were killed and 64 others were injured as a result of strikes.
In the Sumy region, a man was injured by a drone-dropped munition in the Esman community. Another man was injured when a UAV struck a car near the village of Bytytsia. One civilian was wounded in a UAV strike on the Vorozhba community.
In the Kharkiv region, two men were injured in an attack on the town of Kupiansk. One woman was injured in a UAV strike on the village of Borova.
In the Donetsk region, one person was killed and five others were injured in strikes on the town of Pokrovsk. One person was injured in a UAV attack on the village of Zarichne. In the town of Kostiantynivka, one civilian was killed and three others were injured in a combined artillery and UAV strike.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman was killed in a artillery and UAV strike on the Myrove community. Three people, including a State Emergency Service employee, were killed in shelling. Six others were injured, three of whom were rescue workers.

Four teenagers were injured in a UAV detonation in the village of Oktyabrsky. A married couple was injured when a UAV hit their car on the Kukuyevka–Dolgoye highway. In the village of Dvuruchnoye, one man was injured when a drone struck a residential building.
Additionally, several new casualties have been reported. A man died in hospital from injuries sustained in the July 31 mass attack on Kyiv. Another man was injured in a missile attack on the Sumy community on Aug. 5. One more man was injured in the July 31 UAV attack on the village of Nykolskoye, Belgorod region.
