(Self Deliverance). 1. Ask God to forgive you from your sins. 2. You might ask yourself out loud. “Do I have a spirit on me? Do I have a spirit on me not of Jesus Christ-Yes or No? (Listen to your inner voice) If I have a spirit on me not of Jesus Christ you are not invited, and I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to leave and I cast you out” --(make yourself cough). 3. Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill any void that may have caused.

Devils Are Spirits
Devils are spirits under Satan’s control that used to be heavenly angels. They were cast out with Satan and now serve him wholly. Just like Satan, they go about like “a roaring lion seeking whom they may devour.” (I Peter 5:8) They are spirits, but are constantly looking for a body to possess. They can do great damage in their invisible form, but even greater damage in a visible body. Jesus told of a demon that when cast out was looking for a place to inhabit and then returning to the body it had possessed before. “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” (Luke 11:24-26)
