The 14th of March is National Learn About Butterflies Day, a day dedicated to celebrating and educating people about one of nature's most stunning and vibrant creatures: butterflies. Due of their role in flower pollination, butterflies are significant organisms. But, they are also beautiful to the sight, and we enjoy seeing them all about us.
Educating people of all ages about butterflies and their value to the ecosystem is the goal of the annual National Learn About Butterflies Day campaign. A strong butterfly population is a sign of a healthy environment because of the function they play as predator and prey, in addition to being visually appealing.
