🧨 Big News for CA profession! ☄

🧞‍♂ Happy to share with you four important reforms achieved in examination system of Institute of CA of India during lock down.


👉 To be an examiner, ICAI had started taking an exam of aspirants in last two three years. Special focus was given during lock down and this year starting from few hundred, we have touched the scale of 6500+ duly qualified examiners in system. Where a student require minimum 40 marks to pass the examination, examiner require 72% marks to qualify as an ICAI's examiner, which brings in expertise in system and will have qualitative impact.


👉 We have achieved the benchmark that now onwards all copies will be checked on digital platform with many benefits, apart from improved vigilance.


👉 Students can now have their verification result within 7 days of applying which used to take substantial time earlier. This will ultimately offer more time to students for preparation of next examination cycle.


👉 Overall time period between examination and result will be reduced by 15-20 days. Earlier it was 60-75 days which will come down to around 50 days.

SC: Those who have not opted out, all those candidates can take the exam, but those who cannot appear should be considered as an opt out student and be adjusted in November

SC: You cannot have any deadline. Situation is changing everyday. Today the student may be ready but not tomorrow. You cannot force him to appear for the exam. This will be a risk for others

SC: There can be a situation where a student opt for a centre but that becomes a containment zone. Can the student opt for last minute change of centre?

SC: You have to make a provision then that if a student passes a exam in November, you have to say that it means they have passed the exam in July
