1). Understand the Concept :
Instead of mugging up only, try to understand the concept & try relating it with whatever practical you have and know the importance of studying that particular topic.

2). Read Aloud :
Read a paragraph, understand and try explaining it loud, as if you are teaching someone. Teaching is learning twice. When you teach you are thorough of it.

3). Make Notes :
Make notes if you have time. When you reread your own handwriting, it's always easier to remember. Make a list of important terms, concepts, and ideas in a short summary form.

4). Remember Key Words :
As we are human beings, we can't memorise everything. So try to remember keywords and have an idea of the sentence the keyword is in. Frame your own sentences later but using those keywords.

5). Revise, Recall & ask question from yourself :
Our brain encounters a question and the answer is based on the vast amount of knowledge lying within our head. Just like Google, our brain starts searching for the answer from the existing information bank inside itself. If you keep on asking your brain, it will certainly understand that whatever being read is imp for my master and it will apply all its possible energy in storing and retrieving.

6). Practice in writing :
This practice is required because what we do in exam is to write something in our own language and express. This practice will be very useful for effective writing in exams.
