No. As per the CAT eligibility norms, you should have obtained 50% or more in the Bachelor’s degree (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Following the norm, you are NOT eligible to apply for CAT.

However, if you failed the exam; you have to sider whatever marks were given

I graduated in May this year and will join a job till I get an MBA college. Will this work experience be calculated for CAT only till 31st July? If yes, what's the point of working further. If no, will they consider work experience of later months (after July) after getting the call?

1. Yes, this experience will be counted only till 31st July. You may ask yourself whether it is worth putting yourself through the ordeal of all the preparation.

2. The point of why you should continue further is that we don't really know if CAT plan will materialise or not. If it doesn't, we should have a backup plan.

3. Any additional experience after the 31st July mark can help make your interview even better. You can utilize this opportunity to portray yourself as a serious aspirant - assuming you work diligently and are able to answer questions thrown at you. You may not get points for it but you can make your interview better

There will be a separate notifications for each of the individual Non - IIM institution. Once that notification is released, you will go to the website of that institution, fill their forms and pay the respective fees.

ONLY AFTER THAT would you be considered for that particular institution.

Wait for 24 - 48 hours which is the standard wait time. Sometimes server takes a bit longer to respond.

If the problem doesn,t get resolved even by then;

A. Take a screenshot of your IIMCAT homepage and your payment statement

B. Drop a mail to IIMCAT helpdesk as well as bank guys

C. Make a fresh payment at a time when you anticipate server load to be less like early morning

D. Keep a follow - up with bank for refund

E. Remind yourself never to keep things pending for the last day!!!

No you can not edit your %age. If it is a substantial change; I would suggest filling the form again

The only 3 things you can change during the edit window are:
A. Your Photograph

There is nothing about IIM Mumbai as yet in the course list. If I submit now, I might miss out on the opportunity.

Don't worry about IIM Mumbai. When their internal processes are done, they will give you an option to select through IIMCAT login itself. You will receive due communication and sufficient time, whenever such a situation arises, to exercise that option.

Do NMAT, SNAP and XAT also have reservation?

Do understand that NMAT, SNAP and XAT (just like CAT) are exams which will just give a score. They don't have reservation.

Just that in case of CAT, the participating institutions are government owned and are bound by reservation laws.

In NMAT, SNAP and XAT; the the participating institutions are not government owned and are not bound by reservation laws. Hence, NMIMS, SIBM Pune, XLRI and all other Private Institutions like MDI, SP Jain etc don't have reservation.
