India reports first case of HMPV Virus, 8-month-old baby tests positive in Bangalore.

According to News18, the child does not have any travel history.

The case has been conveyed to the Union Health Ministry.

The baby, who was admitted to hospital due to a fever, underwent a blood test which revealed the presence of the virus.
