Some Helpful Tips for Crypto Beginners

Unless your an expert using high leverage is gambling and even the experts often lose money whilst playing with leverage.
2. DYOR - Avoid Shitcoins -
No one from YouTube shilling you some coin that just launched promising you 10x is your friend. CoinGecko has a list of all the coins by market cap that you can research till your heart is content. Top 50 is a good place to start.
3. Millionaire’s are made in BEAR markets.
Bear market is a long period of downward consolidation. This is the best time to load up your bags. Don't be the guy who didn't average down and miss out on all those sweet green candles.(we've all been that guy)
4. Extreme Fear = DCA in, Extreme Greed = DCA out.
DCA (Dollar cost average) never spend all your money at once. Best to buy & sell over time, and have an exit strategy. Everyone here has the hodl forever mentality but this was something I should of been doing earlier.
5. Passive income is a game changer in the world of crypto.
most exchanges / coins offer Interest or Staking. Take advantage of this and put your coins to work for you.
6. Consider your money a total loss from day 1.
This will help you get through volatility, as 20% swings in either direction are normal and happen often. Don't be the guy that sells to soon or for a loss.
7. Always keep some crypto.
If you do take profit best to hodl a percentage of your coins in case we get more green candles
8. Time in the market, better then timing the market.
No one knows anything in the Wild West of crypto, When In doubt zoom out.
9. It's never to late to get into crypto.
There are millions of people before you who thought Bitcoin was too high at 100$, 1000$, even 10,000$. We're still early.
10. Never open messages or sketchy links from people you don't know.
Especially from this sub, most likely is a scammer/ hacker trying to get your coins. Even clicking a link can get your account hacked, putting your coins at risk.
11. When Transfering funds to a different address.
Always send some dust to avoid losing all your coins if something goes wrong.
12. Zoom out on crypto & Zoom in on life.
Spend time with your loved ones. The market is young and volatile, chart watching isn’t gonna get you anywhere but anxiety just sit back and hodl.
