It’s notable to me that Blue States like New York and California suffered the most odious, draconian, and deleterious government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco have become synonymous with once beautiful cities now given to homeless squalor, open drug use, crime, and (paradoxically) sky high housing costs.

People sometimes ask my why Drs. Peter McCullough and Paul Marik broke ranks with so many of their academic medical colleagues during the pandemic.

“Because they continued performing investigative scholarship while most of their colleagues sat on their hands and waited for guidance from Fauci’s NIAID,” I replied. In other words, most medical doctors in the United States acted more like clerics deferring to orthodoxy than true scholars.

The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision (ICD-10), code for COVID-19 (U07.1) as an encounter diagnosis or a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 as documented by the TriNetX curated code 9088 for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 and related RNA between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2022, and no record of COVID-19 or positive SARS-CoV-2 RNA detection before the study period.
