π’ Beware of TransferFrom Zero Transfer Scam
Dear traders,
Our security team has detected an ongoing security scam targeting the crypto community:
A malicious attacker is using the token contract TransferFrom Function that does not require that the authorized transfer amount must be greater than 0 value, in order to attempt to perform a 0 value transfer. Victims may copy the error address from the transaction history and make a transfer to the malicious attacker.
Recently, we have been receiving messages from users who have fallen victim to this, so we remind everyone to be vigilant.
What should you do?
1. If you see such a scam transfer that has 0 value, please remain calm. These 0 transfers do not affect the security of your assets.
2. Do verify the full address. Do not copy any address from the scam transfer transaction, even if the 1st 4 and last 4 characters of the addresses might look similar.
