What it means to earn money

You earn money when you trade your time and energy for money. In other words, you work for an hour, you get paid for an hour. It doesnโ€™t matter whether youโ€™re being paid by the hour or you receive a monthly salary โ€“ youโ€™re still paid by someone else in exchange for your time and energy.

Itโ€™s important to remember that when youโ€™re earning money, you are usually dependent upon some other entity โ€“ be it an individual, business, non-profit organization or government div โ€“ for the money that supports your lifestyle. Also remember that, generally speaking, your time and energy are finite resources. There are only 24 hours in a day and you only have so much physical and mental energy to go around.

An additional distinction is that when you earn money, you only get paid once for every hour you work. Remember this as we explore the idea of making money next. This is where it starts to get interesting (and a whole lot more fun).

1. If youโ€™re not doing as well as youโ€™d like, all that means is thereโ€™s something you donโ€™t know.

2. Itโ€™s not what we donโ€™t know that prevents us from succeeding; itโ€™s what we know that just ainโ€™t so that is our greatest obstacle.

3. If you want to move to a higher level of life, you have to be willing to let go of some of your old ways of thinking and being and adopt new ones.

4. I have a saying: โ€œItโ€™s not enough to be in the right place at the right time. You have to be the right person in the right place at the right time.

5. The key to success is to raise your own energy; when you do, people will naturally be attracted to you. And when they show up, bill โ€™em!

6. These four quadrants are the physical world, the mental world, the emotional world, and the spiritual world.

7. A lack of money is never, ever, ever a problem. A lack of money is merely a symptom of what is going on underneath.

8. Your financial blueprint consists primarily of the information or โ€˜programmingโ€™ you received in the past, and especially as a young child.

9. The first element of change is awareness. You canโ€™t change something unless you know it exists.

10. The second element of change is understanding. By understanding where your โ€˜way of thinkingโ€™ originates, you can recognize that it has to come from outside you.

11. The third element of change is disassociation. Once you realize this way of thinking isnโ€™t you, you can separate yourself from it and choose in the present whether to keep it or let it goโ€”based on who you are today, and where you want to be tomorrow.

12. If your motivation for acquiring money or success comes from a nonsupportive root such as fear, anger, or the need to โ€˜proveโ€™ yourself, your money will never bring you happiness.

13. Money canโ€™t make you something you already are.

No thought lives in your head rent-free.

14. You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success, that you are the one who creates your mediocrity, and that you are the one creating your struggle around money and success.

15 . Your field of focus determines what you find in life.

16. If you want to get rich, focus on making, keeping, and investing your money. If you want to be poor, focus on spending your money.

17. Again, energy is contagious: either you affect people or infect people.

18. Resenting promotion is one of the greatest obstacles to success.

19. The size of the problem is never the issueโ€”what matters is the size of you!

20. Living based in security is living based in fear.

1. Talent Is Not Enough

"Talent is often overrated and frequently misunderstood. French poet and dramatist Edouard Pailleron pointed out, โ€œHave success and there will always be fools to say that you have talent.โ€ When people achieve great things, others often explain their accomplishments by simply attributing everything to talent. But that is a false and misleading way of looking at success. If talent alone is enough, then why do you and I know highly talented people who are not highly successful?"

2. Everyone Has A Talent

"People have equal value, but not equal giftedness. Some people seem to be blessed with a multitude of talents. Most of us have fewer abilities. But know this: all of us have something that we can do well.

In their book Now, Discover Your Strengths, Marcus Buckingham and Donald O. Clifton state that every person is capable of doing something better than the next ten thousand people. And they support that assertion with solid research. They call this area the strength zone, and they encourage everyone to find it and make the most of it. It doesnโ€™t matter how aware you are of your abilities, how you feel about yourself, or whether you previously have achieved success. You have talent, and you can develop that talent."

3. Believe In Yourself

"The first and greatest obstacle to success for most people is their belief in themselves. Once people figure out where their sweet spot is (the area where they are most gifted), what often hinders them isnโ€™t lack of talent. Itโ€™s lack of trust in themselves, which is a self-imposed limitation. Lack of belief can act as a ceiling on talent. However, when people believe in themselves, they unleash power in themselves and resources around them that almost immediately take them to a higher level. Your potential is a picture of what you can become. Belief helps you see the picture and reach for it."

4. Set High Expectations For Yourself

"We cannot live in a way that is inconsistent with our expectations for ourselves. It just doesnโ€™t happen. I once heard a story that I have not been able to confirm about an aviation pioneer who built a plane the year before the Wright brothers made their historic flight in Kitty Hawk. The plane sat in this inventorโ€™s barn because he was afraid to fly it. Maybe it was because it had never been done before. Maybe it was because he expected it to failโ€”I donโ€™t know. Itโ€™s said that after the news reached him about Orville and Wilbur Wright, the man flew his plane. Before then, he didnโ€™t believe in himself enough to take the risk.

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who want to get things done and those who donโ€™t want to make mistakes. The Wright brothers were of the first type. The would-be aviation pioneer was of the second. If youโ€™re of the first type, then you already expect to believe in yourself and take risks."

5. Pursue Your Passion with Everything Youโ€™ve Got

Rudy Ruettiger, upon whose life the movie Rudy was based, observed, โ€œIf you really, really believe in your dream, youโ€™ll get there. But you have to have passion and total commitment to make it happen. When you have passion and commitment, you donโ€™t need a complex plan. Your plan is your life is your dream.โ€

What do you want to accomplish in your lifetime? How do you want to focus your energy: on survival, success, or significance? We live in a time and place with too many opportunities for survival alone. And thereโ€™s more to life than mere success. We need to dream big.

6. Passion Is the First Step to Achievement

Loving what you do is the key that opens the door for achievement. When you donโ€™t like what youโ€™re doing, it really showsโ€”no matter how hard you try to pretend it doesnโ€™t.

7. Take Initiative

When it comes to initiative, there are really only four kinds of people:

1. People who do the right thing without being told

2. People who do the right thing when told

3. People who do the right thing when told more than once
๐Ÿ‘7โค5
15 rules to know by heart:

๐Ÿ“1. 80/20 rule (Pareto principle)
80 percent of all the income you receive comes from only 20 percent of your activities. A lot of what you do isn't really as necessary as you think.

๐Ÿ“2. Parkinson's Law
You can do what you need much faster than you think. The more time you allocate to the task, the more you will spend.

๐Ÿ“3. Group operation
A good way to complete boring and repetitive tasks quickly is to do the whole set one after another.

๐Ÿ“4. Give first, then receive. In that order, and not vice versa
Over time, you will get more than you give.

๐Ÿ“5. Stay ahead of events. Don't slow down.
This will not only relieve you of expectations, but will also give you pleasure - you will feel that you have the power to control your life.

๐Ÿ“6. Mistakes and failures are good
They allow you to gain invaluable experience, learn a lot of interesting things and become successful, since success in life often comes only if you do not succumb to failures and mistakes. He comes only to the persistent.

๐Ÿ“7. Don't be too hard on yourself
It only creates additional unnecessary internal pain and takes precious time.

๐Ÿ“8. Make good contact
Treat every meeting as if your best friends were there. And you start communication with just such an attitude, instead of being nervous all this time.

๐Ÿ“9. Take advantage of the Reticular Activating System to your advantage
This focusing system, RAS, is located in the brain. To use it, you need to really focus on what you want and keep your attention constantly (for example, a piece of paper on which you can write something from this post, like "Give first" or "Get in touch ").

๐Ÿ“10. Your attitude changes reality
Pessimism can hide behind a mask of realism. But that's because your RAS is wired to perceive the negativity you want to see. That is why you are "right" every time. On the other hand, it may be better not to be right in such situations.
If you try to drastically change your attitude, instead of just considering this possibility, you will be pleasantly surprised.

๐Ÿ“11. Gratitude is an easy way to feel happy
If someone told me that being grateful for just a minute or two is a great way to turn a bad mood into a good one, I would seriously train to be grateful. It is also a great way to maintain a positive attitude and focus on the right goals. Also, make others happy. Which in turn will make you even happier - emotions are contagious.

๐Ÿ“12. Don't compare yourself to others
If you compare yourself to others, you are letting the outside world control your sense of self. Mood swings are guaranteed.
It is much more productive to compare yourself to yourself. To see how far you have progressed, what goals you have achieved and how you have grown above yourself. It may not sound so great, but in the end it will bring inner peace, strengthen your willpower and fill you with positive emotions.

๐Ÿ“13. 80-90% of what you fear will never actually happen.
They are just monsters that exist only in your head. And if this does happen, then most often everything is not as bad as you expected. Worrying in most cases is just a waste of time.

๐Ÿ“14. Don't take everything too seriously
What seems like a big problem today, you may not even remember in three years. If you take yourself, your thoughts and emotions too seriously, then this will only bring unnecessary suffering. So cool down and relax. Your mood will change miraculously.

๐Ÿ“15. Record everything

๐Ÿ‘2
The Things You Can Learn and Start Practicing Today.

1 Never let anyone tell you that opportunities come only once. Opportunities present themselves often in different ways, but you must be on alert to notice and grab them.

2 Everything repeats itself. The moon and the sun rise and set every day and we donโ€™t complain. Why do you complain simply because you missed an opportunity that will repeat itself?

3 Everything has a life cycle. Thatโ€™s the order of life.

4 If you miss a season, wait for another season. Seasons will never end. There will always be rain and there will always be drought. Seasons exist to teach us when to plant, when to reap and when to wait. Some people are planters, others are reapers and others are waiters.

5 You are bound to make many mistakes in life and each time you are going to have a second chance to correct them.

6 We are not perfect beings. We donโ€™t exist to be perfect. We exist to get the job done. Perfection is prison. You stop living once you become perfect.

7 The greatest life lesson we can learn is how to look at an imperfect world perfectly.

8 We donโ€™t live happily because we have money. We live happily because we were able to touch someoneโ€™s heart positively.

9 Even if you donโ€™t love someone you donโ€™t have to tell them in the face. Why should you be guilty of committing the mvrder of someone elseโ€™s heart?

10 Donโ€™t make a habit of getting into other peopleโ€™s minds uninvited. They might lock you out forever.

11 Once in your lifetime, you will meet someone who will change everything.

12 Donโ€™t love too deeply, until you are sure the other person loves you with the same depth.

13 Let go of the past. Donโ€™t let it ruin your present or your future.

14 One day someone will come along who will love you the way you deserve to be loved and you wonโ€™t even have to fight for it.

15 You donโ€™t meet people by accident; thereโ€™s always a reason โ€” a blessing or a lesson.

16 Donโ€™t let your arrogance blind you from noticing the next mistake that will humble you.

17 If you are ever lucky enough to find someone who can put up with your stupidity donโ€™t let them go.

18 The best apology you can give someone is a changed behaviour.

19 There is no need to rush. Whatโ€™s meant for you will always arrive on time, but you must put efforts to create or nurture it. Not rushing it.

20 The wrong person makes you beg for attention, affection, love, and commitment. The right person will give them to you because they love you.

21 Live perfectly so that when you depart you are laughing and everyone that is reading your epitaph will be in tears.

22 Sometimes the only reason why you wonโ€™t let go of whatโ€™s making you sad is because it was the only thing that made you happy.

23 Living with an abvsive person is worse than living in hell, but living with a funny person is like having a medicine cabinet in your bedroom.

24 The best relationship is the one you come together to make each other better, support each other and build each other. No one building the other.

25 Donโ€™t be a gentleman to other peopleโ€™s women, while you are a monster to yours.

26 Marry that person who calls you after an argument just to remind you that no matter how difficult things get, they are not going to leave you.

27 The hardest battle is between what you know in your head and what you feel in your heart.

28 If you have a friend with whom you can speak and open your heart anytime, then you are truly blessed.

29 Everything will work out in the end. You donโ€™t need to know how. You just have to trust that it will.

30 The comeback is always stronger than the setback.
โค6๐Ÿ‘1
The Type of People You Should Remove in Your Life Immediately.

1 The person who says, โ€œdo you know who I am?โ€œ. Get rid of them immediately, that person is nobody. Empty vessels make the most noise.

2 The person who always complain and whine everybody off. Such delicate people should be a big โ€œNOโ€ in your life.

3 Make sure everybody in your boat is rowing and not drilling holes. Surround yourself with people who are growth oriented and get rid of those suck energy out of you.

4 The person who changes their principles based on who or what they are dealing with. That person cannot be trust. They are hypocrite.

5 Love-bombing individual. Beware of someone who just met you and start telling you that you are so amazing, that they want to be with you forever, and that they love you, when they actually know nothing about you. It is not genuine. Let them off your life.

6 Emotional unreliable person. If you keep chasing emotionally unreliable people, you have to question whether or not you are emotionally available.

7 Hypocrites. If you have big hypocrites in your life, just know that you are living in a way thatโ€™s UNFAIR to you. Get rid of them now for the sake of your life and mental health.

8 When you have someone who drain your self-esteem, your life will feel completely tainted. You will feel lighter when you get rid of them.

9 That person that dictates your life for you. Live your life by your own terms, so long as you are not committing cr!me or doing evil. Donโ€™t allow people to dictate to you what to do and what not to. Delete them. That does not mean you will not seek advice, but not dictatorship.

10 That person who feels that they are okay with losing you. Please let them lose you. Some stay. Some leave. And life goes on.
๐Ÿ‘1

ADVICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES

1. Build a home earlier. Be it rural home or urban home. Building a house at 50 is not an achievement. Don't get used to government houses. This comfort is so dangerous. Let all your family have good time in your house.

2. Go home. Don't stick at work all the year. You are not the pillar of your department. If you drop dead today, you will be replaced immediately and operations will continue. Make your family a priority.

3. Don't chase promotions. Master your skills and be excellent at what you do. If they want to promote you, that's fine if they don't, stay positive to your personal development.

4. Avoid office or work gossip. Avoid things that tarnish your name or reputation. Don't join the bandwagon that backbites your bosses and colleagues. Stay away from negative gatherings that have only people as their agenda.

5. Don't ever compete with your bosses. You will burn your fingers. Don't compete with your colleagues, you will fry your brain.

6. Ensure you have a side business. Your salary will not sustain your needs in the long run.

7. Save some money. Let it be deducted automatically from your payslip.

8. Borrow a loan to invest in a business or to change a situation not to buy luxury. Buy luxury from your profit.

9. Keep your life, marriage and family private. Let them stay away from your work. This is very important.

10. Be loyal to yourself and believe in your work. Hanging around your boss will alienate you from your colleagues and your boss may finally dump you when he leaves.

11. Retire early. The best way to plan for your exit was when you received the employment letter. The other best time is today. By 40 to 50 be out.

12. Join work welfare and be an active member always. It will help you a lot when any eventuality occurs.

13.Take leave days utilize them by developing yr future home or projects.. usually what you do during yr leave days is a reflection of how you'll live after retirement.. If it means you spend it all holding a remote control watching series on Zee world, expect nothing different after retirement.

14. Start a project whilst still serving or working. Let your project run whilst at work and if it doesn't do well, start another one till it's running viably. When your project is viably running then retire to manage your business. Most people or pensioners fail in life because they retire to start a project instead of retiring to run a project.

15. Pension money is not for starting a project or buy a stand or build a house but it's money for your upkeep or to maintain yourself in good health. Pension money is not for paying school fees or marrying a young wife but to look after yourself.

16. Always remember, when you retire never be a case study for living a miserable life after retirement but be a role model for colleagues to think of retiring too.

17. Don't retire just because you are finished or you are now a burden to the company and just wait for your day to die. Retire young or whilst energetic to enjoy waking up for a cup of coffee, enjoy the sun, receive money from your business, visit nice place that you missed and spend good time with family. Those who retire late, spend about 95% of their time at work than with their family and that's why they see it difficult to spend time with their family when they retire but end looking for another job till they die. If they don't get another job, they die early.

18. Retire at your house than at government accommodation so that when you retire you can easily fit into the society that raised you. It's not easy to adjust to live in a location after spending more years at company house or at government house.

19. Never let your employment benefits make you forget about your retirement. Employment benefits are just meant to make you relax, get finished whilst time is moving. Remember when you retire no one will call you boss if you don't have a viable business.

20. Don't hate to retire because one day you will retire either voluntarily or involuntarily..

10 THINGS TIME HAS TAUGHT ME

1. Most of our life is spent chasing false goals and worshipping false ideals. The day you realise that is the day you really start to live.

2. You really, truly cannot please all of the people all of the time. Please yourself first and your loved ones second, everyone else is busy pleasing themselves anyway, trust me.

3. Fighting the ageing process is like trying to catch the wind. Go with it, enjoy it. Your body is changing, but it always has been. Donโ€™t waste time trying to reverse that, instead change your mindset to see the beauty in the new.

4. Nobody is perfect and nobody is truly happy with their lot. When that sinks in you are free of comparison and free of judgement. Itโ€™s truly liberating.

5. No one really sees what you do right, everyone sees what you do wrong. When that becomes clear to you, you will start doing things for the right reason and you will start having so much more fun.

6. You will regret the years you spent berating your looks, the sooner you can make peace with the vessel your soul lives in, the better. Your body is amazing and important but it does not define you.

7. Your health is obviously important but stress, fear and worry are far more damaging than any delicious food or drink you may deny yourself. Happiness and peace are the best medicine.

8. Who will remember you and for what, become important factors as you age. Your love and your wisdom will live on far longer than any material thing you can pass down. Tell your stories, they can travel farther than you can imagine.

9. We are not here for long but if you are living against the wind it can feel like a life-sentence. Life should not feel like a chore, it should feel like an adventure.

10. Always, always, drink the good champagne and use the things you keep for โ€˜bestโ€™. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one. Today is a gift thatโ€™s why we call it the present. Eat, Drink & Be Merry.

Fake Signs of Intelligence

A fake sign of intelligence is a behaviour or trait that is mistaken for or falsely presented as a sign of intelligence, but in reality, is not an indicator of intelligence. Some examples include:

1. Using big words or jargon without understanding their meaning, in order to appear knowledgeable or intelligent.

2. Pretending to know the answer to a question when you donโ€™t.

3. Being able to memorize information quickly, but not being able to understand or apply it in a meaningful way.

4. Being arrogant or dismissive of others' opinions.

5. Being inflexible and unwilling to change one's mind when faced with new evidence.

6. Bragging about ownโ€™s intelligence all the time.

7. Derailing conversations with pointless intellectual questions.

8. Acting like you have everything figured out and hard to admit weaknesses.
The 7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People.

1. They complain about the past, the present, and the future. Complaining or venting to friends is natural when we are under stress, but it should only be done in moderation. Making it a habit makes you focus more on the negative mindset, and difficult to switch into a positive mindset. Also, you should avoid complainers because listening to complainers is bad for your brain. Being exposed to too much complaining can actually make you dumb.

2. They are caught up in stup*d drama at all times. Their self-esteem depends on the approval of others and doesn't come from a true feeling of self-worth. They have an overwhelming desire to be noticed and often behave dramatically or inappropriately to get attention.

3. They are substance abvsers. They smoke excessively, drinks excessively, uses drvgs excessively. Then, waste time denying or arguing that these things are a problem. Or they waste time talking about how these things are a problem, but they cannot stop them.

4. They work for a job for money only. They have no satisfaction from a job well done. When at work, they complain about what could be done at home or how they could have been having fun somewhere if not the need for money. When at home on days off, they do nothing. Wishes to get back to work.

5. They procrastinate. Highly ineffective people procrastinate a lot. And the longer they wait to get something done, the higher the chances that it will never get done. They perceive time as endless and forgiving, without realizing that timeโ€”unlike moneyโ€”is the only resource that you cannot recover when you lose it.

6. They blame others. Many avoid making plans due to an inner belief that someone is coming to their rescue. Worse, this someone is often perceived as owing them (entitlement mentality), perhaps someone they blame such as a parent or sibling. They may even blame anonymous groupings such as "the rich" for their p00r progress, which simply outsources their future to the people least likely to help them. Instead, take responsibility, recognise that you are the master of your own fate.

7. They lack sense of direction. They are floating through life without thinking about which way they are going. They are sometimes lost, lack a goal or without any goal or sense of purpose. Finding the right direction in life is not something that happens to you; itโ€™s something you create. Take action, avoid bad company and surround yourself with the people who motivate you to improve and pursue your goals.
Gaining Self Confidence to Succeed in Anything.

Where does self-confidence come from? How do we get it? Why donโ€™t I have it? The answer to all of these questions can be answered with one word โ€“ you! Self-confidence starts with you, your perception of yourself, and what other people think about your actions or behaviour.

For some of us, a lack of self-confidence only affects our high ambitions. You might have always wanted to get up on stage, or to be a professional singer or actor for example.

Perhaps your life dream is to travel the world, visit different countries or cities, but you donโ€™t have the self-confidence to do it. For others, the problem of self-confidence is much closer to home - in the office, business meetings, public speaking events or presentations.

Self-confidence issues affect most of us at some time, and we can usually find ways of getting around the problem. Avoidance is one tactic we often use โ€“ if we can get out of an intimidating situation, weโ€™ll make up excuses not to take part.

However, there are times when we canโ€™t get out of it, or we really donโ€™t want to. If a lack of self-confidence is preventing you from doing trying something new, or from succeeding in your working life, itโ€™s time to do something about it.

The starting point in improving your self-confidence is understanding what causes the problem. Low self-esteem, not believing in yourself or your ability, feeling inadequate compared to your colleagues or friends or maybe some kind of trauma from your childhood are all contributing factors. By examining the reasons for your low self-confidence, youโ€™re halfway there!

Taking positive action to overcome your fears is the next step to help boost your self-confidence. A simple way to do this is by taking on small challenges. You have allowed your brain to associate certain events or actions with fear, so youโ€™ve already pre-empted the outcome of these situations.

By taking a small step towards conquering this, you will find that the result is most likely not as bad as you think โ€“ in fact, youโ€™ll probably be surprised about how good you feel, and your self-confidence will instantly increase.

When you have completed your first small challenge, congratulate yourself on achieving your aim. A small reward can often help. Youโ€™re already on the right path to improving your self-confidence, so youโ€™re ready to take it to the next level.

This doesnโ€™t need to be a huge task; you donโ€™t want to undo all the good work.
Building up your self-confidence takes time, and while you might want to leap ahead, it can be a good idea to take things slowly at first.

Steadily increase the risks you are taking to get your self-confidence to where you want to be. Risk taking does not, of course, mean jumping off a bridge, but the perceived risk of something happening as a result of your actions is usually the biggest barrier with self-confidence.

Self-confidence problems are common for most people, and there are excellent resources to learn to deal with these issues, but if you do have severe difficulty facing certain situations you should seek professional help.
