Hey fam, remember I posted about this back on Oct 16, 2024?
Well, the Dev3pack Fellowship is back — and applications close in just 5 days (Jan 15, 2026)!
As someone who joined the program in 2024, I can genuinely say it’s one of the best opportunities if you're transitioning from Web2 to Web3.
They gather some truly smart people, amazing mentors, and the fellow community is incredibly supportive.
Here’s the rundown:
✅ 1-week discovery basecamp
✅ Full fellowship with hands-on projects + mentorship
✅ Global community of women+ and student devs
✅ Batch starts January 19th
If you’re curious about Web3 — don’t sleep on this.
Apply here before it closes 👇

if you wanna learn Web3 & smart contracts, check Cyfrin Updraft It’s free, beginner-friendly, teaches Solidity, smart contracts, DeFi, and even gives hands-on projects + certs Plus, they got Web3 jobs board so you can actually turn learning into gigs …
A simple truth about Web3 careers
Many people think you need connections to succeed in blockchain. In reality, you need proof. Proof is code. Proof is projects. Proof is showing up every day and learning in public.
A blockchain developer who has two small projects on GitHub is already ahead of someone who only watches threads and videos. Even a basic smart contract. A token on testnet. Or a simple frontend that connects a wallet. These things matter more than certificates.
If you are serious about Web3, start thinking long term. Learn one thing deeply. Ethereum. Solana. Or any ecosystem you choose. Build slowly. Share what you learn. Africa needs builders, not spectators. If you stay consistent, the opportunities will come.A simple truth about Web3 careers

Introduction to Becoming a Blockchain Developer
So you wanna dive into the blockchain world?
Perfect you’re in the right spot. Starting today, we’re kicking off a simple two-week journey that’ll take you from total newbie to someone who actually gets how blockchain works and what devs really do. We’ll go step by step with clear examples and absolutely zero complicated jargon. Promise.
First up: what even is blockchain?
Think of it as a digital ledger that’s totally transparent everyone can see it, and no one can sneakily change it. That’s why it’s a game-changer for money systems, identity, gaming, supply chains, and way more. Developers are the ones building the tools and smart contracts that keep these systems ticking.
Your only task today: Just vibe with this new world. Don’t stress go chill-browse ethereum.org , solana.com , and polygon.technology. Peek at their beginner sections. Wrap your head around the idea that blockchains are basically just computers following transparent rules. That’s it.
You’re already on the right path. 😎

Understanding How Blockchain Actually Works
Before you start coding anything you need to understand the engine behind everything. today we focus on the core idea of Blockchain so you can build a strong foundation. when you understand this part the rest of the course will feel much easier.
A Blockchain is simply a shared database that everyone can see and no one can secretly change. every time people add new information it becomes a “block”. these blocks link together in order which is why we call it a “chain”. this design makes it extremely hard to cheat. fake. or rewrite past data. this is why developers and companies trust Blockchain for finance. identity. supply chains and so much more.
As a future developer the important thing is this. your code will interact with this chain by sending transactions. reading data. and creating smart contracts that run automatically. once you understand that Blockchain is just a transparent. secure. time-ordered database you’re already one step ahead. tomorrow we move into the tools you will use to build on it.
