Almost forgot to post an update.
We didn't do all that much. More cleanup and figuring out how to proceed given the situation. The structural engineer was there, but he noped out of saying much about the wooden beams. Not his expertise, not in his contract. Understandable.
We told the landlord in clear terms what we expect. He has to find a specialist and he has to get the issues fixed. And we want the rent back.
We're waiting for his response. I expect him to deny and downplay everything.
I guess we need our own expert to force him to face the issues.

was yesterday.
The balcony company came back to continue their work.
Velvet covered for me. I had to skip. Couldn't sleep all night, was completely drained. What a shit show this turned into :/

Gave the kitchen ceiling a layer of this stuff. So far, none of the fly poop is coming through.
Well, today was a dogshit day. Things are getting to me.
I can work towards a difficult goal for quite a while, stay on target and chew rock, but if suddenly the rug is being pulled out from under me and all the effort I've put in could turn out to have been in vain, it really trips me up badly.
Add to that the current landlady that's breathing down my neck with even stranger demands and harsher threats and my skin becomes quite thin.

When I started counting the days, I only counted those days we did something in the new place.
Days spent packing up I didn't count. I've been keeping it this way. There's so much more work we do that you don't see here.
Today, Ryn and Kali did a shift in the new place. While Velvet has been helping me a lot at my old place this whole weekend. She does so much for me. I'd be lost without her.
