Back home, all cuddled up, girls night.

Tomorrow I got a rendezvous with the structural engineer.
Day 34

I'd rather be a snail cuddling up to my loved one

Need a hazmat suit and safety goggles. You'll sweet like a pig underneath, so better strip down to your underwear

We're trying this stuff. 83 € for 10 liters. Nicotine stains are water soluble, as are fly excrements
This paint contains a resin to bind the water soluble, staining substances. Hence it cannot be the same kind of white as paint without the resin.
We thought about buying the equivalent product by the same brand as our usual dispersion paint, it would have been slightly cheaper than this off brand stuff, but it wasn't available. Our schedule would've slipped at least another day then.
We have to paint over it with the regular white dispersion paint. Our hope is though that not only will the nicotine paint bind the stains, but also cover them. So that we'll only need one layer of the proper white paint.
There was also a product that claimed to bind anything. But it did not contain any paint. Requiring us to apply at least two layers of the regular dispersion paint. We gambled that the nicotine paint is sufficient to bind the stains and that it saves us one or even two layers of the white paint.
Why did we not paint the ceiling first?
Logistics, time. I started painting while Velvet & Kali were still working on the blinds. When you do the ceiling, you want the room to be empty.
You gotta admit, it got a certain mood to it. A new kind of shabby chic
