We're having problems with the cheap wood grain wallpaper. Putting a layer of paint on it, it started to throw bubbles. We had plenty of glue on it
This issue disappeared again, once the paint dried.

The paint won't quite stick to the glue stains either
We simply have to apply two layers. It is what it is 🤷♀

We've ordered this stuff for the kitchen. About four times as expensive. Curious what difference it makes
Next wallpaper we will try is going to be this. If it turns out to be much less of a pain in the neck, I think we will switch to this kind of wallpaper

One way I found to remove it involves household grease remover, a rough sponge and tons of elbow grease to take off the paint along with the stain. I applied this method to about two particular badly affected walls with sturdy fiber wallpaper. The problematic…
We're trying this stuff. 83 € for 10 liters. Nicotine stains are water soluble, as are fly excrements

This paint contains a resin to bind the water soluble, staining substances. Hence it cannot be the same kind of white as paint without the resin.
We thought about buying the equivalent product by the same brand as our usual dispersion paint, it would have been slightly cheaper than this off brand stuff, but it wasn't available. Our schedule would've slipped at least another day then.

We have to paint over it with the regular white dispersion paint. Our hope is though that not only will the nicotine paint bind the stains, but also cover them. So that we'll only need one layer of the proper white paint.
There was also a product that claimed to bind anything. But it did not contain any paint. Requiring us to apply at least two layers of the regular dispersion paint. We gambled that the nicotine paint is sufficient to bind the stains and that it saves us one or even two layers of the white paint.
