The paint won't quite stick to the glue stains either
Oh and it's coming off too

We've ordered this stuff for the kitchen. About four times as expensive. Curious what difference it makes
We have a bit of a problem we need to find a solution for.

There's fly shit everywhere (right picture). Some rooms are much less affected than others, one is particularly bad, especially the ceiling. CW gross the previous tenants had a few mental health problems and used one room to store trash
Painting over it with emulsion paint causes the stain to dissolve into the paint (left picture)
One way I found to remove it involves household grease remover, a rough sponge and tons of elbow grease to take off the paint along with the stain. I applied this method to about two particular badly affected walls with sturdy fiber wallpaper.

The problematic areas are the ceilings. The wallpaper there easily comes off, and with it the clay plaster. These are also high ceilings of about 2.8m. That makes it really difficult to apply the needed force.

We need to find some paint or chemical way to deal with the fly poop, that doesn't soak or affect the wallpaper too much.

Any ideas?
One idea that came up was to use paint specifically designed to cover nicotine stained walls.

Next wallpaper we will try is going to be this. If it turns out to be much less of a pain in the neck, I think we will switch to this kind of wallpaper
