Day 18 is pretty slow. It's mostly just Velvet and I and although we were here quite early, she couldn't sleep last night and I was quite restless, too.

Minor things, like cleaning walls such we can repaint them, and continuing what we can with the materials we have at hand.

Ran out of wood, again. You always need more than you think

Plumber is letting us wait over a week before he comes to finish it. We're not touching that ourselves, lest a catastrophe happens and we're liable for it.

I'm so tired

Ok maybe I'm too much of a nerd. But how did it become a thing that we as a society bury pipes and cables inside walls? Instead of keeping them accessible in ducts that can be opened easily.

If I were to build a house, that's how I'd do it 🤷‍♀
