Emulex 32G LPe35002 Outperforms QLogic QLE2772 in Independent Lab Tests

·        Tolly Group benchmarked the performance of the Emulex Gen 7 LPe35002 32GFC host bus adapter (HBA) against the performance of Marvell's QLogic QLE2772 32GFC HBA, running database applications and synthetic benchmarks.
·        Key findings included:
o   Emulex delivered up to 4.9 x more IOPS
o   Latency was half that of QLogic
o   Microsoft SQL Server Transactions per Minute (TPM) performance was 19% higher
o   Oracle Database TPM performance was 22% higher
