It’s Sunday, as a friend pointed out, and discussion on the Chalkboard happened to turn to why there is so much human suffering if God loves us. The holocaust was offered as an example, but there are far too many to recount.

I reluctantly weighed in with the following. As with any of my posts, this is my take. There are as many different beliefs as there are people. Agreement or disagreement is fine and some of each is expected. I just felt you’d like to know where I stand on the matter and maybe provide a little comfort.

Before we were, God was provided a choice for our existence in mortality. Christ’s plan of freedom and righteous choice, and Lucifer’s plan to force obedience.

God chose the plan of Jesus Christ for us. This plan provided for our free agency to choose good or evil. Those who do good but fall short are redeemed by the blood of Christ, given freely by that same agency to provide us with a path to eternal life in God’s dwelling place.

The veil that separates us from God is pierced by the Holy Spirit, who guides us with personal revelation when we ask for help.

God is love. He does not punish us or “allow” evil acts. We have freedom to choose to commit evil acts for which there is an eternal price. We can also choose righteousness, for which there is an eternal reward.

Those who perish by evil are dead in a mortal sense, but not in the eternal sense. Pain and suffering in mortality is not the ultimate price we can pay. The loss of our soul to evil is the ultimate price.

We are here to learn, grow and choose. Some choose to do awful things, some good things.

An eternal perspective changes the question. Free will provides the answer.

It has now been revealed from sworn declaration that two of the Saudi 9/11 hijackers were recruited by the CIA and they knew they were in the country at the time and wanted to work with them.
The same CIA that told you that there were definitely weapons of mass destruction in Iraq also were attempting to work with 9/11 hijackers.

How did the BBC know that a 47 story steel-framed skyscraper would collapse from fire, which was a first in HISTORY (prior to the Twin Towers)?

Bill Cooper eviscerated the narrative that Bush and the military industrial complex would propagate before 9/11 happened and essentially predicted that they would use Osama Bin Laden as a patsy for their agenda. He then was shot to death on November 5th, 2001 by government officials.
