"While reading The Cronulla Riots – The Inside Story (Connor Court, 2024) by Carl Scully and Mark Goodwin, I couldn’t help but think of a twist on a familiar film title: The Good, the Tedious, and the Irritating".

Book Review: The Cronulla Riots – The Inside Story - BAC British Australian Community
A long-overdue counter to the media narrative that has shaped public memory of the incident for nearly two decades. But the book also contains contradictions. It periodically re-imports the same moral assumptions that helped mischaracterise Cronulla in the…

The first few generations of people who came to Australia were not immigrants. They were creators.

The ‘dual-naming’ on display for the AFP Women’s Asian Cup.
Don’t be fooled, dual naming is momentary until they’ve sufficiently manufactured consent to change it permanently.
We’ve covered the erasure of our Anglo-Celtic heritage extensively throughout our Nameback campaign.

“FAR-RIGHT GROUP MET IN PARLIAMENT HOUSE”
This report relies on loaded labels and guilt-by-association rather than evidence. Calling a lawful community conference “far-right” in the headline pre-judges the BAC before a single fact is tested.
Most importantly, the article concedes it is not alleging antisemitic statements were made at the event—yet it builds a suspicion architecture around “concern”, “platforming”, and third-party quotations to pressure institutions and individuals into disassociation. That is moral intimidation: delegitimise the discussion by raising the social cost of engagement.
Australians are entitled to debate immigration settings, assimilation, and national cohesion honestly, without being smeared as extremists. If the paper has evidence of unlawful or hateful statements at the event, publish them. If it doesn’t, it should stop implying what it cannot substantiate.
More on this to come.

We're pleased to see the comment section under today’s 'The Australian' article, made up of paying subscribers, overwhelmingly rejecting the ridiculous moral framing and hypocrisy. With over 150 comments, only a handful were buying it.

The History of the White Australia Policy to 1920, by Myra Willard, highlights how the WAP was the outcome of a long series of experiments, conflicts and policy adjustments, culminating in a coherent, if contested, doctrine by the early twentieth century. 👇🏼

This is the letter sent to 'The Australian' the day after it published the smear article by MacKenzie Scott (28th Feb). The letters editor did not publish our correction, despite Scott's article containing numerous errors of commission and omission.
If Australia's supposed right-wing newspaper can ignore journalistic standards and refuse to grant right-of-reply, we can only imagine how low other parts of the mainstream media might sink.
